this is so damn disappointing. Why does every dev seem to give up 1/5 into development and then start ANOTHER project. If I paid money towards a project it's because I wanted to play this one, not another one you decided to make instead of this.
Not that I blame them, but so many devs seem to have the misguided idea that they just need some game to be a miraculous hit during development to fund itself, when in reality solo indie dev means you'll be making basically no money until release, and even then it's a chance. Having the expectation that it will pay for itself for an early access, indie, NSFW game is absurd imo.
If they could make another game to get put onto steam so they "make money from it", why not fix that issue with this game? Tell us how it will be different? What kind of game is it going to be?
They still have not shared how the next game would be any different. And they still haven't made a game update here or on their Patreon page which feels dishonest. I get everyone needs money, but this game costs more than the other games they have made/helped make.
I almost want to pay into the patreon just to get into the discord to see what is really going on, there is so much lack of communication here and even on the free patreon feed does not show any updates pertaining to this.
