110% agree. Honestly the whole thing kind of comes off as a slap in the face to those that supported. He's getting funded through Patreon and making a decent amount to continue independent development. If he isn't interested in keeping the game up to date simply out of burnout or disinterest, it would've been better if he had just been honest and said he would continue, but was taking a break to recover from said burnout. This whole 'no money' thing doesn't really have a leg to stand on. This all just doesn't add up, and feels like an excuse if I'm being honest... and I don't throw that word around often.

Yes, you are correct about that, but given the history others are saying he has with finishing games, you cant expect people not to have concerns he wont abandon this project. Dont get me wrong, I love the games he's made, but it is concerning he didnt announce it publicly.
You are 100% correct. People subscribed and supported him because they enjoyed the game he created, and even I was thinking about throwing some more cash his way if he was going to continue development. All this does, and rightfully so, is cause people to doubt he can ever finish a project he starts. Not to mention, making the discord and the games update announcements exclusive to patreons alienates his fan base. Marketing is vital for independent projects like these, and not commiting to it or even keeping your community up to date is a major red flag. Hope Raliv can realize this. I wont deny the obvious fact that the game not releasing on steam hurt the launch, because im sure it did. However, at that point I think Raliv either needed to cancel this version of the game, rebrand it, and try to get it on steam again, or they needed to scrap the project and move on to a new game where it could get a steam launch. I think why people are so upset is simply promises not being delivered, and majorly, a lack of communication.
that really sucks... hopefully they can finish projects. I usually love supporting independent works, and I dont mind waiting until they are finished as long as they are being worked on. Really makes me feel like I wasted money on a project that was never gonna be completed. I understand you, that would burn my trust too.
Honestly, now that I've had longer to think about it, I'm not really sure. It's hard to know what's real and what isn't when the discord isn't public, and there isn't another source to receive update information.
If this is true, that is incredibly disappointing... still, I wish him the best and hope that whatever project he pursues is something he enjoys if he is no longer working on 1.0.
Loving the update Raliv, very fun! A suggestion I might have for a QoL improvement would have to be being able to shift click to sell/buy items. Maybe when consumables or more loot gets added it could also be added because right now its manageable, but it could make inventory storage a bit more manageable. :)

I understand your point of view, and I agree that too much "perfection" is a bad thing. However, striving for only satisfactory quality could also damage the creator's product. Like all things it's a balancing act :)

We would rather you take your time to make the game as perfect and satisfactory to you as can be rather than rush it out due to pressure and be unhappy with the result. Loving the new update rev! Awesome work! I apologize if this has been asked before and answered, but I had a couple questions. First, will there be a storyline that will be created/continued in future updates, and second, will there be a romance system with more in depth relationships/marriage? or will it remain a mostly sandbox affair. Hi! Me again! So I just wanted to post and let you know that I figured out why I didnt have a "bulge" before, and why the character commented on my male character having a female part. So, firstly, my character does have a bulge, Im just really stupid and didnt realize it was relevant to the actual size of your bits. I had always cranked up the shower slider so that solved that. As for the other, I saw another person here also had the issue of an npc commenting on a part he didnt have, or something of the sort. That is due to the pants being a retexture of being nude without the male parts. That makes so much more sense. I do hope it gets fixed in the future, but I personally haven't experienced that bug anymore. Awesome game Raliv! I am really excited to see where future updates go, along with quests, stories, and even relationships with characters if those are planned. Keep up the awesome work buddy!

Hello, Loving the game, and cant wait for future updates! Something I noticed post patch 0.3, and I'm not sure if this was always the case, but my character is a male, and when he puts on pants his genitalia changes to a female's in the texture of the pants. Characters also comment on this. Not a major issue as when I take off his pants he has the male part again, just pulls me out of the immersion a little bit (pun not intended). Keep up the great work!
Was so worried that when this game was removed from steam and my wishlist that I lost it for good. So glad I thought of the idea to check itch tonight.
