As another user mentioned, the gameplay isn’t very enjoyable, and it really does feel like a level with a bunch of assets placed together without much cohesion. It’s also odd that the gameplay guide is on the itch.io page instead of inside the game itself. The game page comes across as AI generated, both the cover art and the text.

It’s supposed to have DLSS support, but there are no toggles or settings for it in the game. Even so, I can see you’ve built some things yourself, and I’ve probably used the same YouTube tutorials for certain parts of game development in my own project. I’d genuinely like to see your future work since you mentioned this is your first game. I also noticed you released it for multiple operating systems, which is no easy task, so well done on that.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such detailed feedback I really appreciate it! 🙏

As you mentioned, this is my very first game, and I’m still in the early stages of learning game development. I agree that the gameplay and level design need more cohesion and better structure. I’ll definitely be improving the guidance, gameplay elements, and overall organization in future updates.

Regarding DLSS: in this build, DLSS is enabled by default through the Unreal Engine DLSS plugin, so there isn’t a manual toggle in the settings. If the system has a compatible NVIDIA GPU, drivers, and the required NV DLL for DirectX 11, the engine will automatically use DLSS. I understand that the lack of visible settings can be confusing, and I’ll work on clarifying or adding toggles in future versions.

Also, thank you for pointing out the issue with the tutorial placement that was a mistake on my side, and I’ll make sure to integrate in game guidance properly next time. I’ll also work on improving asset usage and the overall presentation so it feels more polished rather than just assembled.

Thank you again for your honest review and encouragement. I’ll do my best not to repeat the same mistakes and improve with every update.

Thanks again for supporting my work! 🌿🎮

Of course, no worries! It was really nice to see something new. Yes, it definitely needs a lot of work, but you are just starting out and there is so much to learn. Even after a year of game development, I still feel like I do not know everything . I really like that you are aiming to create a big, detailed world. I am looking forward to your future improved projects. I think I'll love them.

I totally understand how tricky implementing DLSS can be. If you figure out how to get it working in a settings menu, please let me know because I am struggling with the same issue 😅.

Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement it really means a lot!

Yes, there’s definitely a lot to learn, but I’m excited to improve step by step and build better, more polished projects in the future. I’m glad you appreciate the idea of creating a big detailed world, and I’ll work hard to make the next versions more enjoyable and refined.

About DLSS absolutely! If I manage to implement a proper settings menu toggle, I’ll definitely share the solution with you.

Thanks again for the supportive reply and for looking forward to my future work.
I’ll keep improving and not repeat the same mistakes.
