Yes, you’re right the original intent was to upload the project code to GitHub. Thanks for pointing that out.
This project was built mainly using Unreal Engine Blueprints, and those are stored as .uasset files, which aren’t very readable or practical to share on GitHub like traditional source code.

I appreciate you bringing this up, and I’ll look into better ways to share project structure, documentation, or future projects with more accessible source files.
Thanks again for the helpful comment!

Thank you for letting me know!
The file shouldn’t be corrupted I used 7-Zip to archive it, but I will recheck everything to make sure there aren’t any issues on my side.

I really appreciate you telling me about the problem and for checking out the game. Thanks a lot for acknowledging my work!

Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement it really means a lot!

Yes, there’s definitely a lot to learn, but I’m excited to improve step by step and build better, more polished projects in the future. I’m glad you appreciate the idea of creating a big detailed world, and I’ll work hard to make the next versions more enjoyable and refined.

About DLSS absolutely! If I manage to implement a proper settings menu toggle, I’ll definitely share the solution with you.

Thanks again for the supportive reply and for looking forward to my future work.
I’ll keep improving and not repeat the same mistakes.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such detailed feedback I really appreciate it! 🙏

As you mentioned, this is my very first game, and I’m still in the early stages of learning game development. I agree that the gameplay and level design need more cohesion and better structure. I’ll definitely be improving the guidance, gameplay elements, and overall organization in future updates.

Regarding DLSS: in this build, DLSS is enabled by default through the Unreal Engine DLSS plugin, so there isn’t a manual toggle in the settings. If the system has a compatible NVIDIA GPU, drivers, and the required NV DLL for DirectX 11, the engine will automatically use DLSS. I understand that the lack of visible settings can be confusing, and I’ll work on clarifying or adding toggles in future versions.

Also, thank you for pointing out the issue with the tutorial placement that was a mistake on my side, and I’ll make sure to integrate in game guidance properly next time. I’ll also work on improving asset usage and the overall presentation so it feels more polished rather than just assembled.

Thank you again for your honest review and encouragement. I’ll do my best not to repeat the same mistakes and improve with every update.

Thanks again for supporting my work! 🌿🎮

The game “Code Wave” delivers an impressive experience with its clean UI, smooth gameplay, and well designed levels. The performance optimization using JavaScript is remarkable, allowing the game to run efficiently within the browser environment. The overall gameplay feels relaxing and visually appealing, creating a calm and enjoyable atmosphere.

As a game developer, I typically rely on game engines because building everything from scratch graphics rendering APIs, physics systems, UI frameworks, and asset pipelines requires a significant amount of time and resources. However, seeing a project like this, developed primarily with JavaScript (98%), HTML (1.4%), and CSS (0.6%), is truly inspiring. The level of polish and technical achievement using mostly native web technologies is highly impressive.

I reviewed the source code, assets, and sound effects used in the game, and I am genuinely curious to know how long the development process took from initial design to final build. Creating a game of this quality without relying on a full game engine must have required notable dedication and skill.

Overall, I highly recommend this game. It is cool, calming, and technically well crafted a great example of what can be achieved with pure web technologies.

Thank you so much for the review! 😊
I understand the file size might be a bit heavy right now this is still a development build, so I’ll definitely work on optimizing and reducing the size in future updates. I really appreciate your feedback, and I’ll keep improving the game.

Thanks a lot for checking it out! 🙏✨

Thanks a lot for your feedback! 😊.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! 😊 I’ve just started learning game development, so this Windland Island project was more of a simple experiment to get things working. I agree it’s not very organized yet, especially with the lantern objectives and storytelling. I really appreciate your response  I’ll definitely work on improving the gameplay and world design in my next projects and games!
