I love how the plant changes throughout the story and how when you try to go home you can't. The simplicity of pushing the button as a job is symbolic and the boss always ending the call when you try to respond and have some sort of connection is very on point too. Amazing entry! ^^

Thanks so much for playing - I agree that the detail in Fitri's artwork was next level!

Wow, that was intense! I really liked how it accurately portrayed working a dead end meaningless job and how draining that can be on your soul. Although I wished it was made a bit more clear when you're suppose to quit before things get really bad. Aside from that, it was a great experience.

Delightfully existential. Funny and to the bones chilling all at once. That red button is still in the future, blinking ominously, and that's sometimes more terrifying than the missiles flying over the city.

Thank you for playing, and we're sorry for chilling your bones! (and what an evocative image your comment conjures up. Thank you!)

Really great idea that came together super well. The writing and art complement each other brilliantly and the standout for me was the music! Really intense and absurd, just like the rest of the game

Developer

Thanks so much for playing~ Glad you enjoy the absurdity of it all

this was fun, the writing and the art conveyed the absurd and terrible vibe super well. i had my guess for what that one mechanic would be when i began and it was satisfying to be correct :D

Thanks so much for playing! Hope you got the good ending!

Never thought of playing rock, paper, scissors with myself.  Win some, lose some! Legendary xD

Thanks so much for playing both games!

Button pushed, you legend.

Top Tip: you can use this catchphrase each time you click on a mouse!

I strove to become a legend at pushing the button and I did! I am so pleased that you included the option to sleep in the office! So many companies do not allow to sleep at the office, but I always thought that it was the best option, in case of a middle of the night button emergency!

Developer

Thank you for your service, legend!'

Loved it! The game does such a good job of creating the atmosphere of dread and despair that comes with killing yourself over your job. Gameplay (pushing buttons) and story idea (pushing A button haha) are so tightly knit, that's great narrative design right here. Writing is lively and easy-flowing, had a blast reading. Art is amazing, such a simple style that tells the story so well. Music, too, the theme you're 'rewarded' with is unsettling in the best way.

Great game!

Thanks so much for playing and for your really kind feedback! Hope that the annoying music doesn't stick with you as long as it does for me!

Loved the game's story and visual design,  it was really fun :D  and loved also how the theme has been incorporated into the game:) (See we have common feelings towards office spaces... :D)

Thanks so much for playing! And for sharing your own gloomy office hellscape. I still can't get over how good your title is, and would love to see an expanded Hell HR in the future!

You're welcome, it was really fun, loved the boss' visual too :D Kudos to your whole team. Oh and I definitely will update and add more to the story, once the jam is over. :) The title came to me 30 minutes before the deadline when I was already in panic mode, haha.

Interesting! Visual design is great, and the audio is fun. Unfortunately I never figured out how to finish the game; I pushed lots of sequences of buttons, but it wasn't clear what was doing what and the (fittingly) off-putting music put me off from continuing the loop. Still, I liked everything up until that point!

Thanks for playing the game! We're trying to make the CLICKing and seQuence as mundane as possible because, well, the point is nobody actUally know what the button does. It mIght be pointless. But you keep clicking anyway. Because That's resilience (or is it?).

And as on how to reach the endings...I've left breadcrumbs on this comment :) There's 2 endings and 1 secret ending to unlock :))
