very simple and yet so touching, this does in a few minutes what books can fail to do in 500 pages <3 the art and the characters are the cutest

this touches a difficult topic and it does so in a hopeful way. i played multiple times to see all the endings! it was a bit too short and the endings were too abrupt/rushed to be impactful for me, but this is also a matter of taste. in either case, i'm sure with practice you'll be able to convey your message with more polish :)

very interesting, the writing has a dreamlike quality to it that i really appreciate. the story just starts and you're there and things happend without anything being explained but it doesn't need to, to do what it does. to me at least. i played this twice and i think there might be a broken connector after you take the second hit near the end (where it says 'you're spiraling but it's good to let go')? in any case, this was an enjoyable experience. great work :)

i enjoyed this a lot, the writing was fun and the art conveyed the emotions of the clerck perfectly :)

nice art and an interesting world, i played this several times to get all 4 endings! i liked that you had choices even if the story was rather linear, and i'm unsure how the choices were balanced. some were really simple (do the bad thing or the good thing) but i don't know what eg. the medicine delivery method did, since choosing either one didn't seem to change the outcome. slower pacing would have helped to flesh out everything and bring a layer of subtlety, but i understand that the time to make this was super limited :') in any case, the themes you discussed were great and emphasizing friendship and connection was sweet. good work!

omg i loved this. having the protagonist's inability to see integrated to the gameplay and narrative like this is clever, and not being able to see also brought another layer to the horror elements in the story. the writing did exactly what it meant to do, and the sound design and voice acting were superb - the voice matched the stereotypical twitch streamer voice and tone perfectly. this nailed the satirical horror genre super well, i had a lot of fun :)

the idea of this is very fun! i enjoyed it a lot even though it was a bit unfinished. i also found the art to be quite charming, i was sad that i had to kill the goblin creature :( nice work!

what an interesting story, i loved the concept and the worldbuilding in this! at first i though it began rather quickly, and the ending was a bit abrupt as well, but the pacing in the middle section was great. there was a nice balance of story and choices, and the characters had distinct personalities that made sense for them.

i played this few times to see how my choices would affect things. i really liked having them as a player, even if it felt like the sacrifice one was the only with clear consequences. i assume how long you take to deal with the rot also affects something though? i wonder if there's a possibility to get a secret third option in the sacrifice choice like the text implied? i tried to make bad choices to see if something would happen, but it was difficult balancing that with keeping the rot under 10. when you fail to free your siblings you have to go back and forth several times to (i assume) trigger the conditions for freeing them, but when the rot level reaches 10 you can't do anything anymore or go anywhere. i assume this means you failed but perhaps an ending screen of some kind would make sense here? if it's not a broken connector issue, that is.

in any case, this felt like something that could be expanded into a longer game for both the worldbuilding and the game mechanics to shine more. i really enjoyed this!

i played this through a few times to find different endings and i liked how clearly your choices affected what happened. the visuals and the writing conveyed the scifi-theme super well, and i found the concept of the game to be very interesting. this needs player concentration to be appreciated, perhaps more so than some other stories, but i'm not saying that as a bad thing. intriguing worldbuilding!

i loved the atmosphere here, the graphics convey it well! a quiet world after an apocalypse speaks to me and the simple mission of getting coffee suited that perfectly. nice work :)

really atmospheric, the setting and the colors give this a very specific vibe that makes it stand out in this type of genre. i played through this several times to see all options, and the ending was as hopeful every time.

the art and music are super fitting for your theme, i love how full of character the character portraits are. the gameplay concept is really enjoyable and something that could easily be expanded into something bigger. i played this several times to get to the good ending, turned out i was overthinking the requirements of who to let in and who not when the answer was much simpler. still, i had a lot of fun with this!

getting to remember different parts of the protagonist's life was nice, and getting to choose how you interacted with margeret in the memories added some nice depth and space for interpretation. great work!

the art was super lovely, and the pastel colors formed an interesting contrast with the narrative about being 'in the dark'. i also loved being a little creature.

this was super cute! the art was amazing and the gameplay mechanic was interesting even if it perhaps needed a bit more polish.

great atmosphere and art, it really tied everything together well! i liked that even though you as a player follow the main character's perspective, he's clearly his own character and has specific, narratively imporant flaws - we just kind of happen to be here for this bit of his life. very nice!

i really liked the interpretation of resilience here, it's great to see focus on the nature side :) there was a lack of polish in few parts but i liked the gameplay mechanic's idea a lot. i replayed this few times to see if i would suvive but i never did. nice work!

i loved the spell-mechanic and the fantasy setting! however, perhaps focusing on a smaller section of the story and a more limited number of characters would have helped to flesh out both the storytelling and the game mechanics, and produce an overall stronger and more impactful result. there are ingredients here for something really interesting, but the limitations of a 72h game jam can be felt (understandably). regarding the game mechanics, for example, during the travel section you had directions to choose from but choosing a wrong one just said it's the wrong one - this doesn't really add anything to the experience and feels unnecessary. in your response to the other comment you said you'd want to continue to develop this further, and i definitely see how more time would benefit this. i wish you the best with that <|:)

this was incredibly charming, i adore the little shrimps so much but also NOOOOOO the ending :(

this was fun, the writing and the art conveyed the absurd and terrible vibe super well. i had my guess for what that one mechanic would be when i began and it was satisfying to be correct :D

woah this was amazing, i especially liked obi's part a lot! the aesthetic design is genuinely inspiring to me, and the art and music draw you in to the world immediately. it's a quiet and a lonely existence, but it's the only thing you have. conceptually this feels like a beginning of a bigger game.

superb writing, i love how much emotion, character, and worldbuilding this conveys with simple words. this really felt like a novella and i think the end will stay with me for a while. conceptualizing resilience as something connected to essentially dehumanizing yourself is compelling to me.

this was an incredibly immersive experience, the music, the ui, and the art created a perfect atmosphere for the story. excellent work!

the premise stood out to me immediately, and the softly melancholic atmosphere it created was beautiful. the mechanic conveys the theme in a super interesting way - at first i was more calculating about my choices but became more and more relaxed as the story went on. spending time waiting for something is stressful, but because that something is the end of all things you just have to find a way to be at peace with what you do. i loved this! i spent hours just petting the cat.

i had fun looking for all the endings!

cute art and i loved getting to make the potions!

loved the dark atmosphere and setting! i would have liked for the HP-INSIGHT mechanic to be somehow meaningfully implemented to the game, right now it's there but doesn't really do anything since the story is linear anyway. the cost of insight for an answer is a great idea but it doesn't feel as heavy as it should as it is now. great ingredients :)
