That's truly unfair LAGS...you decided to remove Magic Ring contents from HTA & LSH just because afew people (the people who never played LSHRM) had hatred for Masuo sleeping with every woman. Well they like the fact of a woman getting violated by non-real creatures but cant withstand ntr in an erotic game.... what's the point of being soo faithful after choosing to play erotic games and top of all it was their choice to play the game and they have full choice to leave whenever they want....but nooo.... they want to nag the developer about whom they dont know a single thing or about his conditions to remove Masuo and tamper with the goated storyline.

Of hundreds of positive comments, you chose some random negatives and now you are full throttle blaming yourself for what happened in these 2-3 days. Why LAGS? You are already a successful artist, storywriter and a programmer in my eyes and the eyes of many. The fact that LSHRM is gonna be your last erotic game is somewhat sad but good for you and the best reason you should be unconcerned from those negative comments. You kept the whole community aside who always favored on whatever you planned and took actions in favor of bunch of dickhead players from HTA & LSH who dont even have the skills to play LSHRM. Why LAGSSSSSS?????? The game, the storyline, the everything was made on your decisions then why ruining it on others' bothering. You are ready to ruin a storyline on which you spent 4 and a half year for completion. Why?????

You should be praising yourself that there wasn't a single bug you couldnt fix and that your games are exceptional. Its too easy to comment on stuffs but they could never clone or even make a cheap copy of what you created. And the fact that you did all this with health issues and top of all as a solo developer is something that cant be expressed in words. Maintaining so many stuffs and those from different games is tough and something gets left-out. When doing one project, one usually forgets the stuffs of other project like what's left and what to do...that's human tendency which no one can argue and your reasons for skipping HTA updates are totally justified. Its our fault too because we also start nagging you when its been a long time since any update.

I speaked my hearts out yet there are things which I want to express but cant say.

Youtube comments consists mainly of the android users. So they either know less or nothing about what's going on overall from itch. And since HTA is the only game which has an android version in comparison to LSH, there are so many 'HTA when' people on youtube and maybe that's why HTA is more popular. Yet they don't know you are not going to do android version any sooner.

Please take some break, have some rest or spend some time enjoying. Because you need it and deserve. Then please choose whether you want to keep or remove Magic Ring contents from other game or not as there are Masuo lovers more than that of haters. Work on whichever update, the actual LAGS community gonna enjoy it.

Take this post as my opinion only which you could totally neglect yet I will be waiting for your response PATIENTLY.

I'm not going through a good time in life. The only joy that brought me is that I was able to present a story to the world I've been working for past 4-5 years. I'm focusing more on Ringman because I don't wanna have regret that everything I have written will be kept to myself if something happens to me.

I've been ignoring comments about updating HTA or LSH Ted. I also ignore comments that hate Masuo because he fucks everyone in LSH Ted. But there's a limit to everything. Previously I upload a Ringman Video I would stay online for a few moments to answer any questions people have about the video but on latest video first comment was about 'HTA when' I ignored that got to business as usual but after seeing post made in Ringman's community to update HTA, I began to doubt if people really want Ringman game or it's just a handful of people who are positive about it. I began the poll fully hoping people would vote to wipe out Ringman's development so HTA and LSH will be back in development again. In first 5 minutes it got around 10 Yes votes (I think) and I thought damn. How wrong I was to think people actually enjoy Ringman's story. I signed off went to a drink and after 12 hours I thought well it's enough time. Whatever the results are I'm ready accept only be shocked that No has more votes that Yes. It actually gave me a little confidence that, yeah, Ringman story worth it. But since I don't wanna be pestered for other game's update so right now trying to complete them first. It's in my best interest if CB Remake and LSH ringman is being worked on along side each other.

I've let people play original HTA to know this developer has remade the game without asking for another purchase so unless something happens to him the game will be complete. But even with that people have a mindset that this project will be abandoned. They got no idea how much these delays have done favors for this game.

I remade the game with better background graphics and controls.
Added boss fights since thought people would find it fun.
Added quests to link it to Magic Ring somewhat.
Annie's gameplay was just going to be her lab thing where Hailey captures creature and Annie could have sex with them in the lab. But now she has her own adventure.
I don't know if people like Jellyhailey enemy but that happen just because I was able to work with pathfinding in LSH.(It was simple in LSH because NPC's only interact door. I worked on that a bit and understood how I can make her crawl through stuff, climb ropes and more.)

This time if they had been patient and let me finish ringman's update 0.4 I was gonna reward them with Kara's adventure just like Annie's. Those haters reading this part must be thinking I'm just saying that to make them all regret but it's true. Every time I read comment about HTA update. I thought to myself "it's been long. I should probably reward them with something when. How about Kara's adventure? She goes on four missions and at the end of the last mission she is capture by goblins just like in the movie in LSH Ted".

I only ignore comments that I've answered so many times. For positive ones, I read them but as I don't wanna spam comment I just acknowledge them. I wish there was a reaction button only for developers so anyone commenting know I appreciate them.

I'm not gonna interact with HTA and LSH Ted communities for a while or until I have updates for them. So if your have written something there know it's ignored. Haha.

I wish I could hug you and tell you that you are talented as fuck. Really. The history you wrote and the game you had in mind is not something someone without talent comes up with. Im glad the real community that supports you gave u some hope with the poll ( I fought hard to acomplish that and show you how much we supported you xD ) and im sad that your projecys with lsh were interrupted by the annyoying people that came with hta. The only thing I can do is send you all the love I can and tell you that I love your works. Been following ur path since the first college brawl. Im glad to see ringman game being your best work, and im glad ur motivated to make it so. Take care LAGS. You have a lot of support from the real community of ur games, believe me.

Its odd, I never write comments or really engage with discussions about these types of games but felt a need to here after reading a bit about everything. So first times a charm

I will say I am not some hardcore fan or a keyboard warrior. I have played all of your games though starting with Haileys treasure which is one of the first adult games i actually purchased. I enjoyed it and played through all of it. As far as the content goes I skim through most for all adult games since i care more for the artwork and gameplay of some games but respect the effort for a story. I really could care less if it is NTR or anything or who the characters are as long as the artwork is there.

I will say that I found Ringman on whim and is one of the first and only adult game i played where I found myself staying up all night playing trying to get the different scenario and scenes as well as determine some of the story. I am not kidding when i say I have gone into work near dead, severely sleep deprived or called out do to me playing ring man all night.

I am losing my train of thought. Anyways, as some who is going through it mentally as well and kinda coasting through life on autopilot. I will say... Just do what you want to do man. Whatever will make you happy. I dont make games so i cant fathom the time it takes for it or the struggle, but i play alot and see its the same thing happening to other indie developers. If you want to finish ringman then finish it. I believe it is your far most polished game and check nearly daily for updates on it. Easily imo one of the top 10 adult games i played. People will bitch and moan but will still play what you put out. I dont get how they can complain about an older game being updated. It's why Elder Scrolls, Rockstar and Sims 4 don't have new games because of people like that. I dont understand how people feel so strongly towards content creators, just like find other stuff to worry about ya know? Find other things to give that much fucks about and put it into that instead. Appreciate what they make and provide feedback if given an option so they can improve their craft. No use demanding crap. I agree with this, Ringman is the type of game that has me turning over every rock trying to find what other secrets might be hiding. And you are very on point with saying that the haters dont realize how much work is put into projects like these.

It hurts to hear that you arn't feeling well, you should work on whatever bring you joy. Personally I wouldn't remove masuo or ringman elements from the other games, I like ringman the most, but I played HTA and LST because of ringman. The connections to ringman are a fundamental part of those games and they have been from the start.

It would create more work to remove them but also I feel like it would hurt you a lot to have to cut them out. You have been working on ringman for a long time and if it makes you feel good to create it fully then keep going. In my opinion the more you show of ringmans story, the more people can appreciate the connections in the other games. I love the interconnected nature of the games and you should keep them. Dont let haters change your grand plan, trust yourself first and foremost.

You should care about progress and know that waiting is actually good because I came up with better ideas for Kappa fight and all new enemies. I'll complete these two project asap so I can really do what I want.

No, do what you want now. Why force yourself to complete the games if you don't enjoy it anymore? People who tell you to "complete the game" just use that as a convenient excuse to hold you hostage and demand free updates. Normal players care about the total amount of content in the game, not whether it's "completed". For a 2$ game on itch, I'd normally expect 1 level and maybe 2 animations. Your game already has 10x that. So it is already 10x completed.

You know I care a lot about HTA. Look at my donations. But if you don't enjoy working on it anymore, then don't. As you said, you could just have marked it "completed" several years ago. Instead, you kept adding new amazing stuff. Every reasonable person has realized this. Only the most ungrateful people haven't. I bought the game in 2021. When I saw you were still adding stuff in 2023-2024, I was already considering it bonus content. But we're in 2025 now, almost 2026. You don't owe your players lifetime updates.

If back then I had skills I have now, HTA and LSH would have never been made. I do enjoy working on HTA because it has it's unique story that doesn't take much from Magic Ring. On the other hand, LSH is a different thing. I made when I was learning pathfinding and state machines. It's story heavily relies on Magic Ring. I think it would have been better if that just remained a test project instead of being a game.

I'm selling these games cheap because I'm not a programmer and I still make mistakes. I'm expecting people to overlook that since it's cheap. At least compare to other developers. I love making games and working on multiple projects because it keep my mind away from getting tired.

I know you do care about it. You have even made mods for it. Back then I used to thought how could any one create a mod from such messy coding.

Yeah, I could have completed this project soon but I've been promising people extra content for the delays I'm causing to feed my own curiosity or playing some of my favorite game in recent years. I thought people have mentality like you and would be happy that I'm offering this much content for two dollars but I've learned not to promise stuff in past week. People will say it's my fault for promising so much things for 2 dollars instead of appreciating the work that have been put in. And even after completion is not the end. At least for HTA. I mean people would still ask about if I will be adding new content to the game ever after completing all the things I've promised.

Well I'll focus on completing LSH right now since that one is closest to completion.

LAGS have you heard of impostor syndrome? I think you have it. Your games are not just a little above average or even good. They are absolutely amazing, and among the top sellers of itch.io. Same with your code. I could see you were not a programmer when you started, but the code you write now would be considered close to production quality for a game studio. Most people can't even grasp a basic loop, while you've learned to use coroutines and state machines by yourself. This is once again, not just above average talent. This is something that VERY FEW people in the world are able to do, and an extremely demanded skill that companies would pay 100 000$ / year in the US for, so I hope you're making it at least that. And I'm talking about the code, which is the field I know (I am a senior developer) but you're doing ART as well.

The reason why I mention impostor syndrome is because if you truly have it, the only way you can get rid of it is by knowing it exists. People will tell you positive things above your games because they are true, but you can't believe it. You will only focus on the negative feedback, which is NOT true. The problem is, some malicious people are exploiting it. You do NOT own anybody updates for HTA, even if the game "is not completed", this is a cheap excuse manipulative people have found to exploit you. No reasonable person who played your game has ever thought "Oh, I paid 2$ for this and it's not completed, booh what a bad dev". Every SINGLE of us thought: "Wait? I payed only 2$ for this game and it's that good? and we get another free update?? Wait, there are even secrets to discover?? And another update again? And it's free again? and he still doesn't consider the game complete??". It's been 4 years since release. You need a break then take it. If you need money, open a Patreon, I'll sub for 100$/month. A few annoying pricks will complain, but that's GOOD. You do NOT WANT these people in your community. They are NOT customers, they are manipulators. You do NOT want to even TALK with them, your time is more precious than the 2$ they have paid.

Perhaps I chose wrong audience for this story. I'll just remove references to whatever story I was gonna have for HTA 2 and try again with non-erotic audience once I'm free of everything. I will consider myself good when I'm able to understand codes from professionals.

I don't think I have imposter syndrome and even if I have it, it's not gonna make anything different. I had vision for those games because I wanted to learn better coding and improve on my drawing skills but since last year nothing is going well. I guess someone put a curse on me for focusing on Ringman hahah.... I'm just gonna delete negative comments because I'm already at the brink and don't wanna do anything reckless with life.

I think every thing you do with a public always brings the best and the worst audiences. The thing here is that negative comments always weight more and I understand how you’re feeling. I like that you will delete those comments and keep moving on. I dont think focusing on ringman was a curse, as I always say, there is an amazing community and an amazing audience ringman brought together. I hope you get to feel better and proud of what you have done. I started following your work on college brawl but ringman is what really got me hooked up on following development, searching for lore and secrets and getting invested on its story And characters. Hell, Ringman even made me draw again, something I stopped doing a long time ago xD. Take care LAGS, and think that u have an amazing audience because of ringman. None will have comments like it's a 2D metroidvania game that doesn't need a deep story. I think Magic Ring would have failed if it was it's own game. This two timeline things are confusing people. Imagine 13 in that game with different girl as your lover.

This is gonna upset most of you but I'm removing a few quests from Ringman as well. I don't want anyone to recognize my non erotic work if it's comes out in future.

And it's good that these games were able to get you into drawing again.

Crimson Bird, it seems this community is very supportive and they will support your decisions. I guess there are people who are more interested in HTA and those who are more interested in LSH, LSHMR. Both of them support you and would love to play new updates it's just that some are more interested in 1st game and others in 2nd and 3rd. For me this community seems very supportive so you should go in directions that you like, many players say they will support your decisions.
