Gosh, great idea about the indicators. Also good idea about making the difficulty setting. I'll do it tonight, and maybe you can try the original version of the game. The leaderboard is out of my skill set cuz I think it needs a server to store those scores and update them regularly, I have no idea how to build a server lol, just started learning about making games.

I can help with the leaderboard. :) I can set up the service. (: It is such a badass game. I am shocked that you are a beginner. That explains why the bird doesn’t move to the next area when you touch the right side. I thought you were messing with us there! 😅 There can be a leaderboard by number of clicks, overall time, and best for X or less deaths. You are my hero! It is one of the best games I ever played, and apparently a lot of people loved every second of it. I see myself as a noob as well. I guess we leveled up today! Have a great weekend, and about the game jam, update me if you ever wanna team up for one.
I checked and you don’t need much to have a leaderboard. Unity has this: https://unity.com/products/leaderboards Since you make games with Unity, you are golden! There is an alternative: https://lootlocker.com/
It is 100% free if you aren’t making money from your game. :) I am using it right now to set up leaderboards.
I played easy mode and it is fun now with both modes being available and with indicators for stopping and moving. You made a great game and it is better now with the improvements.

I don’t know if the leaderboard works yet. I can help test it. You can add a secret button for accessing the leaderboard directly from the main menu and getting to temporarily submit a result of 10 hours and x minutes.
Your game is looking really good. I would definitely invest in something you make with this and more bosses.
Love your level design and fun puzzle ideas. Creating and solving tension, creating the sense of urgency and giving the player infinite time to plan their next move! Such a great skill game, so rewarding!
