OK, so I got the pdf and I'm in the process of reading it. The world, of course, is awesome and I love it. The rules seem simple and generally OK, although I haven't tried to make a character or anything yet.

However, the pdf has no bookmarks or page links and the text is non-selectable, meaning it's impossible to search for a term. Additionally, while there's a table of contents, it's sparse, and there's no index. So, for instance, I see you roll 2d10, but sometimes can roll more dice. I have no idea where to go to find out when those times are.  Is this an advantage/disadvantage thing? An equipment thing? A condition thing? Something else entirely? I won't be able to find out unless I can (a) find the section and (b) get my ADHD-riddled brain to remember where that section is.

(Edit: multiple d10s are rolled when there are damage resistances or vulnerabilities. If there's another occasion to roll more than 2d10, I can't find it.)

So... this book, or at least its pdf, can stand to be revamped a bit to make it friendlier to read.

There's also no cover or back cover, which is more annoying than anything else.

Yeah 40 bucks with no covers, no index, no bookmarks, and no searchable text is gonna be a hard pass for now. Thanks for writing this.

Ok, sincere question for you: did you actually read the book?

Like the dice thing is SUPER obvious. Every roll has a base of 2d10 dice. Stuff like your character options (for rolls you are personally making) and monster abilities (for rolls those monsters are making) can modify how many dice are in the roll's dice pool, and these traits explicitly tell you in their descriptions that they add dice.

Also the table of contents is not sparse at all and points directly to specific sets of rules? And there is at least a monster index, which is honestly the only thing in the book which really would warrant one.

I disagree that the monster index is the only thing that's needed to be searched for. There's a lot of info that I found I wanted to look for and couldn't.

I also disagree that the dice thing is super obvious. Yes, I saw the 2d10. It's hard to find specific instances where you roll more or less than that. And I'm not going to remember those instances. I need a search function.
