Hey, snow! Any chance of adding bookmarks to the new version?

Hey, derpy! I'm obviously not the creator, so this is just how I chose to play it. Your successes block damage from all enemies, and when you take damage you take from all enemies as well.
With your 5 successes, you blocked all damage that round. If you had only 3 successes, you would have taken 2 damage (1 from each enemy).
I'm not sure if this breaks the balance too much, but it worked for me.
Let's see if Roll responds!
Hey, Thunder! I've started using the Juice and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite solo tools. It packs some serious punch for a two-pager.
This is my playthrough with it, on the off chance you want to check it out: https://jakezemeckis.substack.com/p/lets-play-ronin-mork-borg-part-2
If you don't mind a bit of feedback, I have a couple of suggestions.
1. On page 118 you talk about a Known List, but it's never been mentioned before. I suggest an early guide for setting it up. The second part to this is about the Threads List, which you mention in the intro, but never get into how to go about creating one. Adding a little guidance to it would be awesome (some people aren't familiar with Mythic).
2. A fellow solo player made a great point about the font size, saying it's too small to read. I'd suggest adding another screen version with a bigger font for easier reading. It would probably increase the page number, but I don't think it's a problem since it's an alternate version. I understand that could be a lot of work, though.
Thanks a lot for the incredible tool! Looking forward to using it a lot more.
Came here looking for exactly that and it does help a lot! Although using the pit trap from 6 encounters ago requires some great narrative judo hahah.
I was thinking that those could be more abstract things, similar to proper curses, e.g. after fighting a skeleton, a 2d6 =5: nightmares with the undead. Then I think it's easier to roleplay whenever it comes up again.
Thanks a lot for this!
To anyone interested, I've started a Let's Play: https://jakezemeckis.substack.com/p/lets-play-wanderer-the-shadowed-realm
Cody, thanks for making the game! It has such a simple and fun loop with that "just one more draw" hook. The Legacy mechanic is fantastic and really sets it apart. Easy recommendation from me!
I really appreciate you answering all questions about the game here, mine and from others. It really helped!
I also have Courier Repacked and will definitely make a Let's Play at some point.
Keep creating!
Hey, Cody! A few questions:
Do events like 'secret stash', 'friendly patrol', and 'lookout (b-good)'also require the Wits check? Or are they meant to be automatic passes?
What about Events with B-evil? Do we enter combat and then roll Wits for the Event?
The event 'Shortcut' says 1T, for Thing. Is it supposed to be Tracks?
If I get the amount of Tracks necessary for the Quest during an Event, is it still necessary to draw and complete the Location?
When we recover 3 Spirit at the Epilogue, is it to a max of 3? If we didn't spend any, does it go to 6?
Thanks!
To anyone interested, I've started a playthrough here: https://jakezemeckis.substack.com/p/befallen-the-ballad-of-luigi-solare
I simply loved the game. It had me on the cover and hooked me at the synopsis. If you like dark fantasy, then obsession, eldritch corruption, and haunted characters are an easy sell, right?
Befallen has an emphasis on story, but the crunch is on point. Rolls are flexible and encourage narrative and creativity. Combat is fast and fun, and corruption provides a doom clock for characters who gamble with forbidden powers.
The complication mechanic is a lot of fun to drive the story in unexpected directions. The haunt is a fantastic source of conflict for the complication rolls, besides inspiring storytelling.
Rolling on skills instead of an oracle to get answers helps with flow and action. The game reads, “instead of asking ‘does the guard see me?’, make a roll with Sneak to see if you are spotted.”
Simple and clever.
Absolutely recommended to anyone who wants an excellent balance of crunch and narrative.
I also wrote an overview of the game's mechanics and details here: https://jakezemeckis.substack.com/p/overview-befallen-by-utopia-rpgs
To anyone interested, I posted a fictionalized version of my session: https://jakezemeckis.substack.com/p/burning-fortress-the-enduring-flame
I included the random rolls from the game and used Mythic for a few tables.
Bejamín, thanks a lot for making the game. I absolutely loved my time with it. The use of introspection and storytelling as a driving mechanic makes Burning Fortress stand out.
Every move is personal, every interaction can be as poetic as the player wants.
I recommend it to everyone who wants a journaling-lite game with a balance of action and meditation.
I'm sure the playthrough isn't up to the game's amazing writing, but it's an honest effort!
If you decide to read it, I really hope you enjoy it.
I can't wait to try your other games. Keep creating!
To anyone interested, I posted the fictionalized version of my sessions: https://jakezemeckis.substack.com/p/hollow-hike-session-0
It starts with a Prologue for character creation, then each Realm.
RollForThings, thanks a lot for making this game. It's a wonderful fix for a souls-like craving. Quick and easy. The Furtive Grasp rules are a clever touch to keep things moving.
The game packs a punch for such a small size. There’s enough discovery to make an entire session feel fresh and challenging, with an excellent Souls atmosphere.
If you decide to read the short story, I really hope you enjoy it.
I'll try Embers of Morndrin in the future. Keep creating!

Dark Mirror, congrats on the game! I really enjoyed my time in the Feywild west and intend to keep playing. It's one of my first solo RPGs, and I couldn't have asked for a better welcome.
Tracking and hunting werewolf bandits as a gunslinger is a lot of fun. The flavor and mood setting in the booklet is on point.
Thank you!
