Ok, sincere question for you: did you actually read the book?

Like the dice thing is SUPER obvious. Every roll has a base of 2d10 dice. Stuff like your character options (for rolls you are personally making) and monster abilities (for rolls those monsters are making) can modify how many dice are in the roll's dice pool, and these traits explicitly tell you in their descriptions that they add dice.

Also the table of contents is not sparse at all and points directly to specific sets of rules? And there is at least a monster index, which is honestly the only thing in the book which really would warrant one.

I disagree that the monster index is the only thing that's needed to be searched for. There's a lot of info that I found I wanted to look for and couldn't.

I also disagree that the dice thing is super obvious. Yes, I saw the 2d10. It's hard to find specific instances where you roll more or less than that. And I'm not going to remember those instances. I need a search function.

reading the pdf explains the pdf, it explicitly says when you roll more dice and very useful to remember because the STAT BLOCKS SAY WHAT DICE TO ADD AND TO WHAT SIDE. there's very obvious notation for it (+Xd10 when adding dice to your side, =>XD10 when adding dice to the opposing side)
