I think this was cool, even though you couldn't finish it the way you wanted it (scope creep is always your worst enemy in a gamejam haha)

The game runs smooth and has a nice coherent aesthetic and visual design.

I REALLY like the targetting system, once I figured it out. It was nice to be able to very easily switch between targeting the thing close to my mouse or the thing closest to my ship (in 3D space) which made a lot of sense to me to map to scroll mouse.

I think from a restrictions perspective you made excellent decisions for the controls.

If this really is your first game jam -> WOW well done!

Thank you very much for the review and testing the game. It really means a lot to me!

Yes, it was my first jam. I have been coding "games" for many years, in different languages, but never finishing, rarely sharing, always adding more features and getting distracted, then eventually abandoning them - you are 100% right about scope creep, haha!

That will be a big focus of my next one. I think I've learnt a lot look at other games in this jam, and seeing what is possible and what good games look like.
Eg. I'm glad I know now about testing the web build locally in Godot, so it will be easier next time! 😂

You've made my day, THANK YOU!
