This game is very similar to one other entry called Recursoban (https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-197-recursion/rate/4026549), which is in some way easier to understand because you actually can see the call stack be executed in real time as you are going back through the stack.
It is thanks to me having played recursoban that I actually have a better understanding and feeling for how to solve your puzzles.
But you also have some additional complexity and challenges because you have diagonal angles, barricades and shields.
The puzzles themselves are well thought out, but also very hard. I think you need a few easier levels to get people started early on and gradually ramp up the difficulty :-)
But don't let that discourage you! I think that making puzzle games is not easy and coming up with logical puzzles in only 3 days is absolutely amazing. Good job!
