Made a small podcast about your game because I really liked it!

I really like the art, and the animations of some creatures are really fun. Giving a score objective really made me want to finish the game, especially since the controls feel nice. Making the first run easier and then keeping a higher difficulty for the next runs helps you progress faster and avoids the boredom of having to start over, it’s really cool!

The game fits well with the 'Webs' theme, a bit less with 'Small things, big impact,' although I understand the connection with the story

I don't know why prev devs think that a game not in theme. There is webs with no other context. U like a small creatures makes some bad things for hotel rating by spreading your web to the rooms. This is simple procedure generated world. You make one room than just inherit new one and add some enemies and other stuff. It's possible to create game like this in 2days.
Only one thing i want to say that enemies except other spider are strange. Just like they not from this game.
But in the end this nice game, fun to kill few minutes.

Nice game and gameplay but I not feel developer made this game for this micro jam 048 but game is good...

Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry if the game doesn't feel like it was made for the jam, but I can assure you it was. I already sent a more detailled reply about this matter to Astercode in the jam comments.

Made outside the jam and unrelated to the theme:(

Developer

As I replied to Astercode in the jam comments, I did make the game during the jam, the newspaper and reviews at the end of a game with more than 10 points being the big impact and the spider the small thing. I'm sorry for this confusion and I will make my implementation of the theme clearer next time.

If this is true, then great job!

This game wasn't made during the jam. This game was not made during the jam and is not relevant to the theme.

The spider (a small thing) leads to an hotel going bankrupt, as shown in the journal and with the reviews (big impact). This might not have been the best implementation of the theme, and I now see that I should have made it more obvious. However, I worked the entire saturday and sunday morning on this game, I did make it during the jam. Below are the propreties of the game project. It might be in French, but you can see at the bottom that the game project has been created after the start of the jam (saturday first november).

I'm sorry  for writing such a long reply that might sound aggressive (if it did feel aggressive, it wasn't the point, and I sincerely apologize),but I just wanted to clear up this confusion. If that's part of the problem, I'll just add that I do not care about the cash prize (I know my games aren't good enough to win it) and that I just make games for fun, not for the competition. I participated in this jam because I had nothing to do this week-end, and I never finish the games I make outside of jams. Sorry for the confusion, I'll make my implementation of the theme more obvious next time.

I don't think that your game was made not for this  weekends, becouse I can see how to create something like that. And this is possible in two days.  I believe you. By the way i'm always using git for my projects. Git commits are more powerfull proofs in situations like that. Just played your game now gonna rate it
