Version v0.19.1 fixed all known bugs.

Have you modified game files in any way?

Have you played any beta version of Harem Hotel? Those often mess the game and continuing with released version makes strange errors.

Is there any more info in file log,txt, it should be in game directory. Can you provide the full error text, cut and paste or take screenshot?

I haven't modified the game data in any way; I just played and occasionally encountered errors with undefined scripts, which I ignored and continued playing. However, after completing Lin's story, an error screen started appearing after almost every interaction, such as moving between floors or locations. I hope this screen and text can help with identifying the problem.

Where did you get that version?

You are not playing a released version. Install latest released version v0.19.1, links to downloads are above on this page.

It may be the save files you have break the game with v0.19.1, but it should work better than the beta test you have now. You may have to start a new game to get rid of all messy features.

I tried to download the game from the provided link, but the file was downloading so slowly, less than 1MB per second (even though the internet in Hong Kong is quite fast) that I decided to download it from a different source where the download speed was faster

I don't remember where I got it from, but I think I will just delete the version I have and just wait for the 0.20 to replay from scratch so that everything is ok. Is the link for MacBook the only one available? because I'm in HK, and the server of the file is in the Netherlands which creates a huge delay for me, reducing the download speed. I completed that version anyway. My macOS security and Dr Web antivirus didn't detect anything suspicious, just a warning that it was downloaded from internet

On Patreon there is also Google Drive download link. That is usually the worst since it has limit for simultaneous downloads, which fills pretty fast. Maybe it is faster, though?

I would not trust third party download sites. You get Harem Hotel for free from the links provided by the developer, so why download from elsewhere.

I tried the Mac download link. Seems OK, downloaded took under 23 minutes.

Ok thanks. I know it's free here, but I just hate the low downloading speed; that's why I searched for an alternative. I'm thinking of subscribing to Patreon after the new year or possibly in the summer, when I earn from my internship. I'm a uni student, so I don't have much money to spend on such things right now. Sorry if my English isn't great, it's my third language

Hi, I think that Google Drive will be ok once I subscribe to Patreon. Because of the location difference, the file will download slowly from any source anyway.
