Huge lag on my side, the game's mouse cursor has a hard time keeping up with my mouse. It's probably due to the game somehow taking a lot out of my PC, even though I don't think it should.

What are your system specs?
We'll try fiddling with some settings...

Is this a laptop, running on integrated graphics? I have a laptop somewhere with a similar configuration, I could try it out later to see if I see the same problem

Not a laptop, it’s a tower. At least I think that’s what it’s called.

Hello, person who maintains the slightly modifed Ruffle build used in the game here.

Could you try running the game with the parameters

-g gl

and report back? I'm in the EBF Discord if you need help doing that.

Was this a reply to my comment or Matts?

And if it's a reply to mine, what are those and how am I supposed to run these parameters?

I think you'll need to run the Matt's Hidden Cats.exe using the command line, with those added at the end.
We're gonna try to figure out an easier way to do it.

I don’t know what a command line is. How should I use it?

Wait a bit, we are gonna push an update who makes OpenGL the default, should improve perfs a lot

I had this issue as well initially, but after playing for a while, the cursor stopped lagging.
