Hi ThrownMoth! I just played your game, Deep Deep Down, and it was VERY unique. Like, you basically took the "platformer with no jump button", like Snake Pass, and added in a mechanic particularly inspired by the Sonic Colors Drill Wisp ability to actively platform your way out of trouble. Now, when I got to the second section of the level, I didn't know what to do for a minute, until I realized on how to use the drill. While on grass, you have to press the left mouse button to drill, and if you hit a solid wall, you'll bounce back into the surface. I tried doing this, and that was very clever of you. Such a well-executed 2D puzzle-platformer game for a weekly jam. The only downside I even have with the game is that there's no tutorial or anything on what the controls are or what you're supposed to do, so I ended up just figuring out the controls by myself, and that mostly threw me off a bit. Overall, 3/5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic work, ThrownMoth!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I've actually never played sonic colours but after checking it out I can definitely see the resemblance lol, the idea actually came from the dream blocks in Celeste. I'll definitely implement a tutorial if/when I come back to this game I can see how that can confuse some players. Thanks again for the feedback :)
