Hello again LAGS hehehe..

I found another bug, hehe, in this v.0.3.3 update, besides this one. I'm redoing the walkthrough, so I'm redoing everything from the beginning (and also looking for bugs).

1. Bug with Kunio x Donut, the dialogue is blank and freezes.


2. When I restarted with a complete deletion of my savedata, why was he still buggy? Even though when I tried before deleting the savedata, he ran normally.

4. Oh yeah, I'm confused, isn't this a bug? Because Hitomi's second animation opportunity while playing tennis is very rare. This probably happened in v.0.3.2.

Oh yeah, I have a question:

1. Are the reset quests for some missions that reward equipment/items designed to not be deleted as well?

2. Do you have any plans to reset the truck assistant outfit?


I haven't completed all the quests yet, because I'm working on a walkthrough. If I find any more, I'll report them.

About bugs:-

1. Any idea if it's a quest dialogue or normal one.

2. Well there was a bug with her before but this one isn't. It happens because NPCs follow you after a distance threshold. Since Masuo is slower in this case they reach him and stuck in that walking loop.

3.Will keep note of that.

4.It doesn't happen until you are in live stream phase of her quest. May have problems if you did Timeline 2 quest before tennis one.


To answer your question.

1. I want players to try out different outcomes of an quest without losing items from that quest.

2. Do you mean deleting all cloths? Yes. It will be available in main menu.

Well, I had no idea, so I tried again with the quest or with the normal dialogue. Everything went back to normal, the dialogue reappeared. Emmm..

Hi. I don't know if you've already solved the first bug, but I have some info on this one and a few other issues.

1. Regarding the first bug, I think it's a normal one. I also encountered this problem, and I noticed that it only occurs if I don't talk to Kunio for the entire level, then, in a conversation with Okada, choose the option where Masuo says she mistook him for someone else, and only then talk to Kunio. If Masuo chooses a different option in the dialogue with Okada, or talks to Kunio before talking to Okada, this problem doesn't occur.

Also, if you talk to Kunio, then complete the level, start new, and follow the path that leads to the bug, it will also occur. (I'm not sure if this part is worthwhile, but it theoretically eliminates the safe file-related errors, so it might be a good clue. Or maybe it's just that after programming in C++, my brain is trying to find any possible cause for the error, no matter how absurd, haha.)

2. I noticed that there's a strange error related to Masuo's dialogue during the scene with Okada and Ms. Yamada in the classroom. Masuo should say this line, but instead he says nothing, like in the first bug(Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce the scene or find a screenshot of this problem, so I'm attaching what the correct phrase should look like):

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any clues to solve this error :(

I'm not entirely sure how exactly the game decides which of the two scenes to run, so I couldn't constantly check it. Also, surprisingly, this line only appeared the first time I played it, and then, if I'm not mistaken, there was only a blank space from Masuo.

3. Also, I don't know if this is a bug. However, I noticed that while I'm in the college area, Divine Petals are constantly being added, every second or so. It's possible that the issue is that my save was ported from version 0.3.1 to 0.3.2.1, as this problem didn't exist in version 0.3.1. By the way, I just remembered that you've released a newer version of the game, and perhaps the issues I described are no longer relevant. Sorry if that's the case

You're welcome. It's nice to know that as a player, I can contribute to the project's development in some way.  

Regarding the third issue, I visited various locations to double-check, and I noticed that, I greatly exaggerated the divine petals accrue timing; in reality, it's much less frequent. Also, I noticed that:

  • This happens not only in the "Evergreen College" location, but also in the "Sakurai Household" location.
  • It happens anywhere in these locations.
  • Also, increasing the time in-game with the M button seems to increase the speed at which divine petals are obtained.

Also, based on the specific locations where this issue occurs, I'd guess it might be related to characters doing various naughty activities by default in this locations (which is why I wasn't entirely sure if this was a feature or a bug). Like Junsa in "Sakurai Household" in the closet (who's not actually doing anything and only looks that way, but maybe it doesn't matter), and Satsuki in the security office in "Evergreen College," or, for example, Kunio (which would explain why divine petals seemed to be accruing faster in this location after I cleared my save. In the save before clearing, Kunio is no longer in the college location, but after clearing it he reappears. So, if this is how it works, Kunio and Satsuki can give divine petals together, which is why they are earned faster).


Uh, considering that you're currently fully engaged in LSH and HTA development, I feel a bit awkward reporting bugs in LSHR and taking up your time. You also mentioned that you try to fix issues right away so you don’t forget them. Have you tried using any project management tools like Trello or Taiga? They let you create separate projects and record ideas or bugs you come across.

When I was developing a game for university with a friend, we used one of these tools. They’re quite helpful, especially when you're working in a team, as I was, or want to access your project ideas from any device simply by logging into the website. Setting them up can be a bit annoying sometimes, though.

Anyway, this message kinda went off in a different direction than I planned. Good luck figuring out the issue! 

I figured out what was causing 2 & 3. Second one only happens in timeline 2. For third, I've added a line of code where each time a sex sound is played 0.02 value of buyable petal is added. Since those are the maps where NPCs are having sex that resulted in adding petal even if Masuo is not involved. Well enjoy petals while this bug is fixed.

Great that you found the causes of the bugs! To be honest, I didn’t even think that different timelines could somehow be related to this. It also turns out that the way the petal gain system works is pretty much how I imagined it, though it's a bit embarrassing that I didn't immediately realize that petals are added as float numbers. That makes perfect sense, considering the increased petal acquisition speed in college after clearing the save.

By the way, I'm curious. How do you plan to solve the petal issue? Will you try to link the mechanics of obtaining buyable petals to the sex mechanics? Or maybe you’ll try duplicating, renaming, and splitting the audio file that the main character and NPCs play during sex? Or maybe you came up with some other solution to the problem?

There's already a condition that checks if the NPC is engaged in sex. Those values will only happen if that's true.
