Perfect interpretation of the theme!

But I still suggest making a few improvements:

1. Make the white not so bright (black is already as it should be).

2. Make the black spots geometrically irregular. (A long time ago, I saw such a concept in some review. And there, instead of circles, there were blots with splashes. And it really allowed me to navigate in space better.).

3. Disable the ghost collider just before the explosion. Because when you see the enemy, shoot at the enemy, hit the enemy, and the result is zero, it's a little frustrating...

P.S. Special respect for the Godot logo!

Thank you for the suggestions! Yeah, I initially intended to splatter multiple circles of differing sizes to keep the paint shape more irregular and random, but in the end I didn't have much time to make it look good and quite liked the uniform circles. Not sure what you meant by disabling ghost colliders, I assume the issue is when the ghosts spawn on top of you and you don't have time to hit them enough, before they self-destruct? (the game doesn't indicate this in any way but you have to hit the ghost 3 times for it to explode into black paint instead of white)

Yes, sorry, everything is fine with the collider! So I had problems with math. For some reason it seemed to me that 2 hits were needed. If there are so many, you can make an indicator. You can change the color of the paint bucket.
