Was a little hard to figure out what I had to do and how the UI works but once I got to playing a bit it revealed a lot of content. The asthetic and sounds are really nice, definitely suit a theme.

The UI was a bit confusing at first but it looks really good visually, once you get use to the UI it feels pretty good, good job :D

Thank you for the feedback! I acknowledge the UI can feel dense initially; that depth reflects the Coil’s complexity. I’m glad you enjoyed it!

The UI is fun, but jam packed with content. Its hard to know where to start - the biomass and psionics gauges aren't super clear about what they need/do, is there a limit to harvesting and synthesizing? or is it just the mechanic to keep things topped off? I like the mix of minigames and pet! Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the feedback! I acknowledge the UI can feel dense initially; that depth reflects the Coil’s complexity. To clarify, Biomass and Psionics are the Coil’s core energy resources, serving as its essential fuel for survival (as Biomass decays when AFK) and as currency for major actions like Warp Migration, which consumes a set amount of both. Yes, there is a limit to harvesting and synthesizing—your current Max Biomass/Psionics values define the cap, which increases as you Evolve to new Archetypes, making the simple harvesting/synthesizing actions the essential idle mechanic used solely to keep your reserves topped up for the next high-stakes action.

Really enjoyed this. I particularly like the UI design and game language/lore/vibe you have going, it's cool and right up my alley as a space nerd! In my own space-y submission I got way too caught up in the planetary exploration part to add in much of a creature game, but I reckon with our powers combined we'd have made a sick space game of some kind haha. Good job!

Developer

thanks! Yes, I’m a space nerd too, I enjoyed your game as well it was very immersive! Hahaha yeah maybe we can link up for the next jam haha!

The Explorer Ship minigame has a pretty annoying sound.

I think you’ve got a funny bug when shooting with W and the up arrow.
I really like the style and the idea — great job!

Thanks for the feedback! The explorer sound was intended to be offputting.

What kind of bug you found when shooting with W and UP arrow?

Thanks again for testing the game!

You can shoot twice faster!

This is fantastic. I really enjoyed this game. It is well put together and fun to play. I can see myself coming back and playing more. The polish is impresive. The loop is solid. Great job!

Developer

Oh wow thanks! This means a lot to me! I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Fun! I like the shooting minigame and the depth you designed here.

Developer

Thanks! I was inspired by arcades to add the 2 minigames: warp and exploration. Glad you liked it!
