its more than likely a common typo. while some characters do have "typing styles" that preserve a number of typos for flavor, its/it's misuse is more than likely something that would need to be fixed for ideal readability. thank you for pointing this out.

as usual, updates to the release will only be deployed if there's a sufficient number of significant bugs, but the nightly version on my website will likely have the typo fixes rolled out much sooner.

I've been noting typos as I go along, so I can send those in if you want. What website has nightly builds? That would mean I would hopefully avoid finding problems others already found, but I don't think I see a link to your website anywhere (I looked it up too, but figured I would ask to avoid finding the wrong thing).

it's located at https://dungeoncrashers.mil.desertia.sbarg.net/hyacinthheld_MV/hycheld/
Do note that I have no idea how to transfer save files between standalone windows version and web version. I would greatly appreciate a list of typoes if you'd be willing to provide them. That being said, I haven't gotten very many reports from like, anyone.

Thank you by the way.

I'm not going to be able to play any more until after this weekend, but my list of typos is already pretty long and I have no idea how near I am to the end of the demo (Hyacinth just talked with Samm), so I'm putting up my list of typos now and I'll make a second one later. I haven't switched to the web version yet.

List of typos: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iBqbQo8xS_X_DCr385Y3GoWObR-WisoO/view?usp=drive... (I just put it in a Google Drive text document because I didn't want to try posting a comical list in here, that seems very unreadable).

And happy to help, I'm enjoying the game so far. The characters are great and have good interactions and the humor has had me laughing out loud at times. I don't always understand everything that's going on, but I feel like I understand the plot itself, so not always understanding the background context doesn't really throw me off.

Thank you so much for the comprehensive proofreading document. While I will be busy with other things tonight, I will begin work on tackling these typos soon. I'm glad you've enjoyed playing so far.

managed to knock out the typos and bugs on the list! they are added to the nightly version. as there are no gamebreaking bugs and the only errors were minor inconsistencies in side-content, the demo here won't be updated.
I will say however that there are some instances of VoidCo being no-capped that tend to be related to how much respect the speaker is lending to the company, which often winds up being not that much in most contexts, for understandable reasons. insert joke about capitalism here lmao

That being said, the list was incredibly helpful, especially since the countless instances of missing apostrophes can be pretty hard to sniff out. Thank you once again.

Ah, good to know on the VoidCo thing. That definitely makes sense, considering. I'll skip noting any of them for anyone who doesn't respect VoidCo for my current listing.

And happy to help.

And finished the second list:

Now that I've gone through and noted everything, I'll have to give it a bit and then replay it on the nightly build so that I can experience it a bit more without noting things down so much as I go. I'd go through the more violent route too, but I don't enjoy such routes much, so I think I'll skip that for now.

I'm really enjoying it so far. A lot of the battles could use a bit more variance in their attacks (a lot of them you can just hold the move key in one direction and the attack will fully miss you every time and then they just repeat that attack the same way every time), but the characters are excellent, and the great variety in the events they go through I really enjoyed (plus, some of the lines in it had me laughing audibly, like the line about "Dark Harvard" in the copypasta).

I also didn't see any gamebreaking bugs, or even any particularly bad ones, which is good.
