This game is actually quite interesting. I was able to craft the candy, put them in the bowl, and even place some decorations. But if I place down decorations, the kids would run away before getting to the candy. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing? I would also need a clearer explanation of what happiness factor actually does. Finally the clown costume is slower compared to the others. Maybe keep movement speed the same for every costume since it doesn’t affect the core game play. Overall, very interesting premise, the game needs a bit more clarity on what the player’s goals are.

Thanks for playing the game! I know I didn’t have time to explain in the game but on the store page it does explain how the happiness mechanic works and why the clown is slower. The clown greatly increases happiness instead of scare factor for the kids so you can get more resources from them when they get scared away. The higher the happiness of a kid when they run the more resources they leave. And I left the first night pretty easy so you pretty much got guaranteed resources and each night the threshold for being scared increases as well as how happy they can get. Good points! I’d definitely like to improve and develop the game more now that the jam is over. Thank you again!
