A big thanks to everyone who tried out my game and gave me feedback as well! I really appreciate anyone giving some time to my game and actually giving it a go. I will say the ratings were a bit harsher than I was expecting, which I think is a good experience for releasing a game on somewhere like Steam :) I love having the opportunity to build something and see what everyone else thought of. There were a lot of truly awesome little games that I’d love to see grow and develop more. Hope everyone else had fun as well!

P.S. if you’re planning on taking your game further and maybe even releasing it one drop a link to the game so I can follow it and see how it’s going!

Thank you! Yeah, I wish I had more time to add more in game tutorials for it. To make the candy you had to use F at the oven to bring up the menu and then click on a candy you want to craft. You also need the necessary resources to craft it. The decorations had a built in table but I didn’t have the time to create a visible UI element for players. That’s definitely something I’d like to add and improve. To scare the trick or treaters you have to be kinda close to them and use space bar to Scare. The ingredients only spawn from the trick or treaters once you scare them but I’d like the idea of improving the game and maybe have decorations that passively spawn them or something. Thank you so much for playing through and trying it!

Thank you for playing! Yeah I ran out of time for developing in the jam so the crafting was a bit trickier than I wanted it to be. I also had a slight bug where sometimes the inventory wouldn’t update with the UI so you might have run into that. Thank you so much for spending the time to play it!

Thanks for playing the game! I know I didn’t have time to explain in the game but on the store page it does explain how the happiness mechanic works and why the clown is slower. The clown greatly increases happiness instead of scare factor for the kids so you can get more resources from them when they get scared away. The higher the happiness of a kid when they run the more resources they leave. And I left the first night pretty easy so you pretty much got guaranteed resources and each night the threshold for being scared increases as well as how happy they can get. Good points! I’d definitely like to improve and develop the game more now that the jam is over. Thank you again!

A tv literally stole my pumpkin and ran off with it. 10/10, would tokyo drift in a coffin again.

Awesome game :) I think maybe different levels between scoring a certain number of goals would make it more fun!

I had so much fun playing this. I didn't notice any glitches on my playthrough, fortunately. I thought the teleport function was broken on the last level but I realized you don't actually need it to win :) Very fun, and I think I see how you incorporated the Trick and Treat themes for the Jam into the game. Awesome work!

It's so simple but so much fun! I was worried that the teleport wasn't working on the last level but I figured out I didn't need it :)

I spent as much time working on it as possible, so I hope it's fun! Please share a link if you submitted a game too so I can try it out and hopefully review it!

Hi! I'm looking forward to participating in the game jam and can't wait to get started working on something fun for everyone to play. I just had a question about the prize for submissions. I already have most of the gamedev.tv courses and I was wondering if it was possible to give the course to a friend as a gift instead? Thank you, looking forward to seeing what everyone makes!
