In game Art is great, but whilst i am in no way an artist, and especially not pixel art, I'm sure mixing pixel sizes isn't ideal. UI could do with a coat of paint to bring it up to the visual standard of the rest of the game, but i completely understand the time constraints of a game jam, and if something has to give then so be it.

Sound was ok, but a little more ambient noise / BGM could help add some extra tension.

As mentioned by others, the controls aren't super intuitive, but also not the worst I've come across by any means.

The story was cool, and overall it was a fun little adventure. Slightly frustratingly i went below, fixed all the systems and then when returning back to the bridge was greeted with an instant game over screen.

Shame the jam theme wasn't incorporated as far as I could tell.

Finally the wire grid puzzle was irritating as there were many ways to connect the two terminals, but nothing happened unless the 1 particular combination that you'd chosen was used, and whilst i know it says in the book on the floor, that only 1 way works, it seemed more like a coverup of a puzzle that needed a little more work time to get working correctly.

All in all a lovely game jam submission with lots going for it, and some areas to keep working on in the future, but lots of potential. good work!

Thank you for playing our game and sharing your thoughts!

We definitely had a lot of plans, we just didn't have as much time to develop everything - so we focused a lot on core systems, so at the end the game feels a lot more linear than it should have been. That also goes for the the Jam theme, we had a lot of ideas for jumpscares and unsettling atmosphere, also we planned to have a chase scene with an uknown entity. Overall, a lot of things stayed out due to time constraints.

In future entries we plan to make a lot more of these games with all the improvements people provide :)
