As mentioned by other commentors, I was unable to beat the game due to a bug that happens at a certain point. But I still had a chance to try the game out for a bit! The inputs to access certain areas were interesting. I wish we could see more of that put on display. Additionally, one complaint I have is that the player's speed is very sluggish and seems to spike up or spike down in speed randomly in certain segments. That may be intentional, but some segments feel more artificially drawn out as a result of the slow speeds. Aside from that, for a game made in 1 week for the jam, I think you did a pretty good job and should be proud of yourself! Great Game!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it for a while, I tried making the speed adapt to the situation (i.e. being in the cold making you slower) but it might not have worked as intended. I'll be taking this into account while improving this project, (along with the bugging issue first of course)

The story is interesting, and I like the level design, but unfortunately the game bugged out for me at one point. Good work!

Developer

I'm aware of this issue and plan on fixing it in the next version, I'm glad you liked it up to that point though!

Very intriguing, but the game bugs out at some point. Well done.

Its come to my attention from my friends and another commentor that the game crashes during that section sometimes, playing from the download may or may not fix this problem but I hope you enjoyed your time playing prior!

Played through the game! Seems like we both had a similar idea with escaping in dream!

The QTE-like sections where you have to move to jump over or break through are interesting, don't think I've seen anything similiar  on PRGmaker. Props

I was not quite sure what was going on with the story, but the sound design and the aesthetics were really good! It's amazing that you made this as a solo dev!

Do you have a downloadable link for your game? The game crashed when it tried to load the chase sequence music.

Developer

Just added a link to the game page, enjoy your time playing

I downloaded the files, but it doesn't contain the .exe file that allows me to play the game.

Developer

Sorry I used the wrong file for the downloadable, thanks for letting me know! Glad to find out on anything I might have messed up on.
