I had a lot of fun playing!
The game is pretty polished and the gameplay feels smooth, overall I give this one two thumbs up.
Great game! THe gameplay feels really good, the main character looks amazing, the village looks beautiful, incredible work!

Nice game, props! Feels great and looks great. Just two small notes on the mechanics: once you figure out you can run in circles around the town, the guards lose their threat — maybe adding ranged ones could add depth. Also, melee and ranged attacks feel identical in damage, so there’s little reason to use melee — perhaps make melee hits stronger to reward the risk?
Thank you for feedback! Im aware of it.. Sadly i haven’t time for balance mechanics. Ranged guards are actually good idea.. 👍 I will be changing later a lot regarding combat.
Had a fun time playing it! Solid mechanics that worked well together with a good gameplay loop. First i thought the little guys with shields were the guards, and after killing a few didn't think I had much to worry about. Little did i know how wrong i was. Big guys definitely gave me a run for my money and the choice between sacrificing time for damage or avoiding and hiding is a solid touch. Well done!

Really good looking game. Cute premise. Pretty solid gameplay. The pumpkins as a hiding spot was a neat mechanic. The dash animation was really cool. The level design was really good looking. Nice lighting and particle effects. The NPC AI was good too.
I almost gave up because I didn't know you had to attack the gate to get out of the beginning part. The game also started lagging on my box, but I gave it a pass because I've been having video card issues the last week. Still, not usually an issue I have with game jam games so thought I'd mention it.
Despite the technical issues I had, I thought it was a solid entry.

Sorry the cemetery exit wasn’t well explained — I really should’ve clarified that.
I packaged the game on medium settings because I didn’t have time to optimize everything properly, and a lot of the mechanics are kind of duct-taped together right now.
I’m really glad you still enjoyed it despite all that!
