I liked the minimalist and colorful style but i must say it is very unforgiving, even after i get used to flow of the game. Of course it is not a problem but a design choice that can be enjoyed many daredevil players. The only problem i encounter that the score starts at 100 and doesn't change through the run. Good job overall.
Yes yes, it's in early access, there are many things in beta like the rewards part and HUD, now I'm already working on a much more balanced version and with many additions, I invited you to follow me and maybe try it again in a week you will notice a big change.
Sure, i'd like to!
This was pretty fun, I like movement. The green background is kinda disorienting
the background is random at every startup :3
i think the import have errors that are making the game unplayable...
I understand, could you be more clear about what kind of errors you are encountering so that I can fix them? Also because during my tests many things work but maybe something goes wrong in the import on Itch. If you describe the problems you are encountering better I can solve them.
For some reason what loads in my browser doesn't look like the screenshots. I don't have a tutorial, there are no walls and my character looks different. There's also an achievements section in the main menu that doesn't load. Could've itch served me an older version of the game?
No, it's the correct version. The one you see in the screenshots is an older version made in pure HTML, while the current game is developed in Godot. I still have to update the Itch page with the current screenshots, but unfortunately I haven't had time to do so yet. The game, as you can see, is still in development. If you're interested in seeing the developments, follow me; it would help me a lot.
Ah got it, must've been tough switching platforms through the jam.
While it's not yet in the game, could you add the contents of the tutorial to the game's page? It would help a lot with understanding the mechanics, so I can make a better review.
Ok I'll definitely do it tonight, put a mini tutorial in the game description especially for the keys, so at least until I implement the tutorial in the game it will still be playable
I implemented a mini tutorial in the description
Some of the weapons aren't working properly sadly. I can see a world where I get addicted to the gameplay though! Keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback. This is currently in development, but this is just a first beta of the game to showcase the project's vision. Many features will be implemented and fixed in future releases. If you're interested in the project, follow me so you can stay updated on its developments. :3
Some weapons aren't working, and enemies have too much hp or aren't taking enough damages.
Enemies' AI isn't truly developed for a game that is based of killing them in waves. Like none of them send projectiles for example, they just run to you. Our character is too weak and die too fast.
On preview screen we see walls and HP bar, but in game it's not implemented, the enemies seem invincible at first.
Achievement button isn't working, and so the exit one (may be the navigator for this).
Thanks for the feedback. It's currently in development, but this is just a first beta of the game to showcase the project's concept. The credits and activation buttons don't work because they haven't been implemented yet. They were just added to prepare for a future update. As for the weapons, can you tell me which ones don't work? I need to add a tutorial because grenades are thrown with the right hand. Also, you're right, we need to work on the balance.
