Absolutely adored this game! The effects, map, and characters models all reminded me of old sonic and mario games.

In terms of suggestions, however, I think you should fix the camera since it kept moving downwards whenever I moved forward. Also, I know you're going for a "retro" kind of style but that doesn't always mean everything has to be crazy saturated. It kinda hurt my eyes a bit lmao. Another issue I had was where an enemy attacks me continuously to the point where I couldn't even dodge or attack, just instantly died while being knock-backed to oblivion. Personally, I would make it so enemies have a small delay after attacking, giving the player a window to at least do something.

Overall, this game was peak CINEMA. Loved EVERY minute of it!!!!

Thanks! My advice for the enemies is to use Right Click to jump away if you end up getting too close. (Though I'll totally admit that the player damage/knockback system is pretty scuffed, iirc it was the very last thing implemented for the original daydream version...) Not sure what's going on with the camera for you, that's never happened in my testing... (you're using WASD and the mouse, right? I wouldn't be surprised if there are some other keys mapped to controls that I forgot about during development...) also the saturation was a concern that I had, on the screens I've personally tested on, the game is pretty desaturated, but on my partner's mac the colors were really oversaturated... I'll have to look into that.

I think the camera thing might just me then.

Also, I did try to dodge the attacks and it did work but when I was going against 2 enemies that were locked on me, it was kinda wraps from there. But honestly, that’s just a personal nitpick I have with the game. Everything good clearly outweighs everything wrong with the game imo
