Really cool moody rhythmic percussion piece. The timpani immediately creates a sense of scale (though it was panned a bit too far to the left for my taste). The snare/bells create a nice higher pitched contrast. I noticed that the instrumentation was primarily high and low pitches, not much in the middle.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes you are right, I might have neglected the middle ranges too much. I will keep it in mind. ^^

Amazing job! One of my favorite submissions this week for sure.  The use of scrappy percussion works great and isn't too overpowering.  The main melody does get a little repetitive. I run into the same problem a lot because I love writing with loops. A way I found to fix that is to double the theme with octaves, doesn't work all the time but usually does the trick for me!

Thank you for the feedback. I will consider the tip you mentioned. 😄

cool time piece! It’s always interesting trying to find a melody over an uneven meter. 🤘

Thanks 😄

This is probably one of the more 'scrapyard' submissions I've heard so far. The machinery as the percussion was really cool, and the odd time signature felt very fitting for this kinda sound. Nice interpretation of the theme.

My main piece of feedback is that I would've liked to have heard a little more variation in the melody. The initial statement is cool, but I think if you changed it up each iteration it would keep it interesting. Like if you adjusted the melody to play over different harmony, or changed up the syncopation every so often would have a fairly big impact on maintaining interest IMO.

Thanks for sharing what you've got, keep up the good work :)

Thanks for the thorough feedback. I also had the feeling, that something might be missing, but I was a bit running out of time for it.  Maybe I will work on the song later on and incorporate your feedback. ^^

I'm glad, you liked my interpretation of the theme. :)
