I'm gonna be a bit candid here and hope that I am not oversharing, but:
I really didn't expect to like this game when I booted it up first because the description sounded like it would hit too close to home in some aspects. I expected to try it out, play a few minutes, and then to quietly drop it because the subject matter was too heavy.
But while some of the topics DID end up feeling a bit personal, reading them expressed by a stranger in a more extreme way than I would have thought them myself, was actually quite helpful and more than once I found myself saying: "Oh, honey..." to the MC, and devoured the whole current thing fully enraptured. 🤭
I tried to work under the assumption that both characters are just emotionally at the brink right now and tried to explain any weird behavior that way, and that worked quite well... for a while. There were really just... two instances that I couldn't just easily dismiss, but boy howdy, are those instances.
So I'm looking really forward to the continuation of this story and to unraveling the apparent mystery of "what the hell is actually going on"!
