I cannot describe the weird suppressed squeaky noise I made when I read this, while sitting unmuted in a voice chat.

(Edit: Wait, nevermind, I'll leave the comment up in case you want to read, but I did realize the link you posted in another reply also shows the bad endings, so feel free to ignore this wall of text. xD)
Spoiler warning for other readers
I know Deiran does mention gnomes in his ending and I have seen a comment here mentioning gnomification, but I got the chance to call upon all 4 of them in my first try (Their preferences are communicated very well! And mostly the main three just seem in need of a bit of compassion.) and actually haven't explored any of the bad endings yet. I'm kind of tempted to purposefully "fail" the interactions to see everything the game has to offer because I am sure the writing in those endings will be just as fun, but... that would require me to actively disappoint my customers, and we can't have that now, can we? 馃き
But just in case I change my mind, to make it easier for my people-pleasing mind: Is there a list of what the 9 endings are?
- I'm assuming David's and Victor's endings count as one each, despite having a choice at the end? So then each of the 4 LIs plus going home alone would be an ending, leaving 4 "bad ends".
- One is probably not filling the tip jar, resulting in fork related activities.
- One seems to be boring or annoying Deiran enough to learn the wonders of being a garden decoration.
- David will likely get a bit too hangry if you take too long in storage.
- Which would leave something with Viktor as the last bad end, but I can't really imagine him hurting a fly. Is there a way for him to succeed his weird seduction trick where we feel the pull? Or... oh no... do I actually have to laugh at him? 馃ズ
Uh... Sorry for the long comment. These must be a lot to go through regularly. 馃槄
I'm gonna be a bit candid here and hope that I am not oversharing, but:
I really didn't expect to like this game when I booted it up first because the description sounded like it would hit too close to home in some aspects. I expected to try it out, play a few minutes, and then to quietly drop it because the subject matter was too heavy.
But while some of the topics DID end up feeling a bit personal, reading them expressed by a stranger in a more extreme way than I would have thought them myself, was actually quite helpful and more than once I found myself saying: "Oh, honey..." to the MC, and devoured the whole current thing fully enraptured. 馃き
I tried to work under the assumption that both characters are just emotionally at the brink right now and tried to explain any weird behavior that way, and that worked quite well... for a while. There were really just... two instances that I couldn't just easily dismiss, but boy howdy, are those instances.
So I'm looking really forward to the continuation of this story and to unraveling the apparent mystery of "what the hell is actually going on"!
Definitely interested in more shifts, no matter if it is to introduce new clients or to spend more time with the existing ones! I adored every single person in this so much, although the mad king does have me in a worrying iron grip of fear and delight. At the same time I'd love to hang out with Victor and make sure the poor guy doesn't ever go hungry again, or support David in navigating his unlife.
There were so many parts in this that had me giggling and kicking my feet, and the choices offered almost always had at least one option that felt natural to my personal way of reacting to things.
I do like the little trinkets you can collect, too! Although I might have missed Victor's, if he gives you one.
Also great quality all around! The writing, the art, the usage of the art and music... Extremely good stuff. I'll definitely keep an eye out for more!
(But who gave that clown permission to be so captivating? Don't answer that; I've heard his tale.)
I was trying to set up a twitch channel point redeem that only works if the user has a certain rank in Mix It Up. My general idea was to make the redeem go through MIU, check for the rank there, and send a command to KBonk if the rank is sufficient. I hoped to make the command kind of "secret" so users can't just type the command instead of using the redeem.
