To be honest I wasn't really expecting this story to hit on a very personal level for most of my audience, so it's really interesting to get the perspective of someone where the subject matter IS close to home. I'm really glad that it resonated with you (but not TOO much) - to be honest that's something I enjoy about stories, both reading and writing - it can help sometimes, to experience your problems through someone else's perspective 🤣 (sometimes I joke with my friends that writing is free therapy...)
