They might be evil but the ghosts are adorable! This was a simple but fun experience. I did find a bug though where I got killed by a ghost that was already dead, I guess the death animation wasn't over and it could still attack (I was close to a solid high score too). No sound but that's the way a game jam goes. Doesn't change that what you made in the time you had was still great! Played, enjoyed, and rated!

I didn't save the high score but if I recall it was around 160. So not too close but I was getting there! No worries though, I still had fun!

addicting little shooter, those axe ghosts scared me a few times. I could imagine some fun sfx on this but I know how the time crunch was. great work!

This was a BLAST! Definitely reminds me of being a little kid in the school computer lab and finding fun flash games when the teacher wasn't looking if that makes sense at all lol.
Definitely got myself engrossed in the game loop and felt myself wanting to keep coming back to get a higher score. The visuals also feel really well done.
I do really wish there was some audio here to really sell that player feedback, and if I had 1 gameplay critique, the ADS feels like it covers too much of the view, and the bullet positioning vs the center of the screen felt a bit strange (was never 100% sure if my shots were landing), but that didn't stop me from having a killer time with this!

Yes!! that was literally the vibe that I was going for, I do agree the ADS sucks and the game needed more feedback like a muzzle flash and bullets leaving the gun. But, I didn’t have much time to actually work on the game since I had to go to uni most days of the jam leaving me with half the time or so and I had to finish in time one way or another haha (I stayed up for 35 hours at the end to finish..). I unfortunately couldn’t fit sound design into my time frame as I had university and other things to attend, maybe next time though!
Very challenging game which is also very pleasing visually! Love the shape language of the assets as well as the color palette. Great job! My team also went for a limited color palette hihi aesthetics for the win
