The bird chirping that fills out the stereo high frequencies is really nice.  After a bit, you can tell the bird chirps are part of a long loop that slowly starts to suggest a rhythm, and by the end of the song, the bird chirps are almost functioning as hi-hats dancing with the shaker and the finger snaps in the background.  I don't know why I'm so fascinated with the bird chirping, maybe it's the way you've turned into into a percussive instrument.  And that's pretty darn neat.

The harmonies and melodies are serene, adventurous and well done.  The overall arrangement definitely evokes the image of cherry blossom petals floating on the breeze.  When the saxophone solo hits, I'm transported back in time to the early 1900's for some reason.  Which is perfect given the painting we were provided.  Nice work!

thanks for the feedback! About the chirps, i think it's mainly because they are arranged in an 8 bar loop where i tried to put them in random places while still maintaining a sense of flow with the rhythm, then i automated volume and panning in a sort of random pattern that loops every 16 bars. I think that's how i managed to make them sound random and intentional at the same time. Really glad you appreciate this subtle detail!
