i got jumpscared right at the beginning, it looks really cool, i love the retro visuals, and it does a really great job with the atmosphere. very cool game :D.

I think the game has a strong build and solid idea for an overall game! The atmosphere is so strong, and the art is so interesting and has a good vibe. I feel like the actual gameplay could have a little more focus. But if you were to ever expand this I would play more!

I really like the retro visuals of the game and the gameplay is also good. Having two enemies makes things a little difficult, but I dont mind a little challenge. Overall, its a solid entry

Pretty great! I liked the graphics and how there were two enemies, both having different ways to kill you. Them double-teaming you was way almost impossible to survive though. The upgrades felt deserved. The only thing I would maybe change is you having to start over whenever you die. There are multi levels (or atleast there are multiple sections), and if you die, I think you should start at the one you were last on, or a the very least, have 3-or-so lives. Other than that, really enjoyable!

This was a good time!  Super cool environment and sense of atmosphere, and the 3D models have a lot of character!

I feel like it could have used some difficulty tweaks here and there, and I personally would've liked a bit more in-game context for things (seeing now that the game's page explains a good bit that isn't seen on the jam submission page), but overall this is a solid entry!

You should be super proud of this!  Excited to check out your other works :)

Thanks! I had so much fun making this that I'll be switching gears to make this as my main project. I have so many ideas to implement story within the gameplay and make runs feel super fun even when you've played for a while.

That weeping angel is evil. On a serious note, great job on the atmosphere and overall polish. The game felt really smooth and engaging to play :)

Nice style and fun atmosphere

Developer

Thank you! If I had more time I would have added different types of levels for variety and cleaned up the textures a bit.

I'll still be doing that though since I want to continue working on this project.

Yo I love your game as well! PLEASE do some doom-like level design so I can schmove around while gunning down enemies if you plan to keep working on your game.

Submitted(+1)

I definitely will that was my original plan but running out of time waves was my resort lol!

Interesting concept and game loop! Can't wait to see what this gets developed into :)
