i love the art and music, its amazing! the atmosphere felt reallly well done. i also liked the way the candles and flashlight light the enviroment, looks so good and polished. i also found reading the sticky notes to be really cool, the writing was really good, i really liked the transition from wholesome to creepy. my suggestion would be that the music should’ve been subtler or perhaps not present at all at first to make the transition work better maybe. definitely looking forward to playing the full game. :D <3
Thank you so much for the feedback and suggestions i really appreciate it!, im happy that you found it fun. i do wish that more games had the ability to essentially parry bullet with bullets. playing with the duration of the ghost is an interesting suggestion! :O, i’ll definitely consider it when i work on it later on. im also glad you liked the atmosphere even with lack of music, i was planning on having some music but i couldnt come up with any ideas that’d fit the vibe in time. Not being able to on floor with the fire is a bug, i guess i missed it cuz i kept jumping and dashing over it and didn’t consider just walking through it. i appreciate that you liked the tutorial as well :D <3
thanks!. i get the getting stuck on corners thing, a bunch of people have mentioned it. and also the alpha1 thing, i saw a bunch of people get confused by that. i was trying to be specific i guess, but its probably very unlikely that someone would the try the 1 on the numpad when the game asks them to press 1 lol. im very glad you liked the aesthetic and looks and found the game fun :D
Feels very polished and fun to play. the movement is fluid and feels very clean, the levels are satisfyingly difficult. sounds are great. Reminded me a lot of hollow knight with the cutscene and the death animation and game’s ending cutscene and music. absolutely amazing job for something made in such a short time!
thank you! i think its super cool that someone can get a feeling of nostalgia experiencing something i made, it makes me really happy. i agree with the getting stuck on corners issue it is something i overlooked while making this since this is my first sidescrolling 2d game, woops. I will be fixing it when i work on this later :D.

I really appreciate the feedback, its my first 2D sidescroller so i didnt pay attention to the getting stuck on corners thing, thanks for point that out, i was aware of the breakable ceiling not being obvious enough, and i also agree with the last point about the player not getting enough of a heads up for when the the player stops being a ghost. i will be fixing these issues if i decide to work on this in the future :D .
as fan of ultrakill, i loved playing this game, i didnt really find out what happens when you die, cuz i beat the game first try. i love how it looks, the music fucking slaps, the movement is great, the weapons are pretty cool, feels awesome to play, this is incredible for something made in 4-5 days. I think one thing that could’ve made it even jucier would be some camera shake. but overall Really enjoyed playing this.
The art is REAlly good, the music is sick and sounds are really nice. Only problem i had is that theres not enough information for the player to go on with, and the levels are a bit too hard. But aside from that i think the mechannics are great i loved the grapling hook, i found the last level really cool, using the grappling hook with the gravity flipped and stuff. Overall very cool game, would absolutely love to play a full release.
