Okay I'm stuck at the bird boss, likely softlock.like each time I give him the final hit, the guy makes the face, apparently being defeated and the leaf powerup floats somewhere fixed in the air, but the floating platforms are still there, character cant move. nothing happens.game stuck after the final hit is dealt .-(
using the web version in current firefox version in windows 10, (on an admittedly old 2015 notebook)

okay, jsut played the web version and replayed it to this point.
Same issue, so I am kind of doubtful that it is jsut my notebook.
Also I had the same ant queen walls tuck thing when I fought the ant queen and climbed up further than she was present with her juicy buttocks, so she screamed and threw me to the wall as usual but this time, I was stuck in the wall, couldnt move, the platforms didnt come back to the foreground and only the worker ants starts their downpour again.
but back to the bird thing, here is how he looks after the final hit, I fall to the floor as usual and cant move.
Nothing happenbs no matter how long I wait, so definitely softlocked there.
it's likely not too visible but the nboss has that swirling in his eyes, so he's done for good. just wont disappear alongside the paltforms and stuff.

I've replayed the Bird fight like 10 times because of this but I found a solution.
After you defeat the Bird happens next:
- player is frozen and can't be controlled
- a leaf spawns right above the player
And now the game waits for the leaf to fall on you. After this you obtain the new ability and controls unfroze.
BUT. Those platforms are still up and if you're standing under one them guess what. Yeah, the leaf falls on a dang platform soft-locking the game forever.
THE SOLUTION TO THE BIRD BUG: just make sure that after the last hit there is no a platform above you
hm not sure if I did what you meant.
but I jsut retried.
fought it and did the last hit while jumping from a platform.
upon falling down, i pressed left so basically mid air falling agaisnt the left wall, short wall sliding there.
the leaf fell on the paltform nex tto me, so while sitll on the wall(and somehow able to move)I wall jumped over to the platform collecting the
leaf.
basically jumped, did the last hit, manouvered dto the left wall during the jump, leaf falls on platform next to me, wall jump back to the platform and collect it. shows something aboutgrand father not waking up this night.respawn at checkpoint. go back in.bird fight no longe initiating, bird sitting there with egg shell over his beak.
and I can glide after a jump, no clue if this is the new ability or not.havent played this in ages.but either way the boss fight is considered done .
so either I know have the new ability or am jsut softlocked.while explore again
