Wanted to add my two cents on the subject since it's quite interesting how both observations are valid!

I really like how the dev used the instruction booklet as an almost required "tool" to properly play the game, like in the old days when some of these booklets were absolutely necessary.

On the opposite, I think its quite true that reading these in PDF form may feel even awkward almost.

Either way I'm loving what the build is currently offering, great job!

I wouldn't call it awkward - it's more like mundane. PDFs feel like a work tool, akin to emails, Google searches, and Excel spreadsheets. Having to read a PDF for a game feels too similar to troubleshooting.

Well it's a combination of 'you're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't'. If I did include the instructions in the game information someone would complain it's too long. So I defer to trying to give the user the experience of playing an old fashion computer game in a package. If I had the chance and money maybe someday I can do a production of a boxset you could buy. But for right now I can only just give the visual feel.
