There is a lot of polish here! I'm going to have to come back when I have a friend to play with. I love the style of the fonts and 2d assets. Nice job
Played by myself, but I like the game. Very polished overall. For my player 2 the buttons were right shift or P to grab and O to break, and it took me a bit to figure out how exactly it works, but it's straightforward once you get it and I'm sure it would get heated if I were actually vsing someone lmao
love the multiplayer aspect!! and the gameplay is very satisfying <3 also, I love tetris, so the floating pieces made me happy
This was a fun time playing with my partner!! Didn't notice the instructions on the main page until after we finished. Hopefully a future version can incorporate a tutorial level of some sort. I like the game design and think it fits the theme really well!
so happy to hear you had fun! We did have a tutorial ready but got side tracked when we pivoted from PVE to PVP.
Cool idea! Wish I had someone to play it with or a single player mode
That's a shame. The game was actually planned to be single player but we weren't happy with the result, tho I still think theres some merit in the original prototype.
Thanks for taking a look at it regardless!
Nice game mechanics!
Great game with unique mechanics! It feels very polished, with nice art, music and sounds that fit well together. The controls are smooth and the interactions are satisfying. The jam theme is integrated nicely.
I didn't understand the mechanics initially, but figured them out after playing around for a bit.
I played with my husband, and it was really fun to steal his letters and run away. And to stack blocks in his input line >:D After that I played solo.. It wasn't as extreme but was meditative instead.
Really enjoyed playing the game!
Thank you so much for the comments! Fun fact, this was desined as a solo/ cooperative experience, but after a players my friend suggested it would be cool to make it pvp and we made a HARD pivoted to make the game pvp in the last 24 hours hehe.
Im glad you tried doing it solo even if we abandoned the idea!
Also we didn't consider your strategy to stack blocks in the others input line hahaha
Really polished and cool game, I like how the feedback from when you press E on a tile before it has been revealed to let you know it's too early. The animations are very fluid and I enjoyed playing the game a lot, even as a single player on the left side. Awesome!!
thank you! Im happy that the single player experience was still enjoyable! We originally planned an elaborate single player experience and even made a working version of it but we didn't find it too engaging to be honest. If we had the time we should've included that build in the game as a level or something.
