Always nice to see a 3d metroid inspired game! Not sure what it had to do with the theme, but other than that I had a great time with it. The environments could use a little bit of lighting because the walls, floors and ceilings have a tendency to turn into mush sometimes, disguising any exits from the room.

Is it intended to be able to jump outside the map in the starting room? I jumped all the way up, then let myself fall into the room with the green secret behind the red wall, and couldn't get back out hahaha

It reminded me of the Metroid series the atmosphere was really nice ❤

It took me a while to figure out what was going on!

Explanation for others:
you finish the game by reaching the yellow area.
But what matters is how many secrets you finish the game with.
The secrets are those green items!
Power ups:
Blue lets you jump infinitely!
Red lets you destroy the red walls!

This game has a cool vibe, I like the zelda 1 figure it out style you're going for here but I feel as though games have slightly moved on in the sense that, the player should be well guided to where they need to go and the secrets should be for those inquisitive enough to find them. I feel like the game could do better with guiding because I was quite confused on where to go. But I feel like this has a lot of potential!

Love the retro vibes, but felt very empty and wanted something to shoot with my gun. I found a yellow thingy and stepped on it, the screen went black and said “secrets: 1/3” and then never returned to gameplay.

Like Tipudev, I also had an issue with my cursor being locked, but spamming escape key eventually brought up the menu and let me move again so i could close the window.
