"Death is the answer, to die is to be free"

"Kill us"

"Free us"

The fade out worked on my machine I swear

You're definitely a dev and a good one. I would personally say the gimmick is still very relevant even if it's not necessary to win as it introduces a separation between the skill floor and skill ceiling. That will help get new players in as if they struggle from the get go they're less likely to stick around. But I totally understand if that's not what you want.

I would recommend Lisa, I think you'd like it!

Great game, I really wanted to finish it which is great but I think the regen time on the buildings is a little too fast that it goes from addictive to frustrating. I like the graphics and sfx, very intuitive. I think it would be better if the peeps you buy don't get locked up until you've used them all again, and if it auto switched to deploying the people you just bought. But other then that great 2nd game!

This game has a cool vibe, I like the zelda 1 figure it out style you're going for here but I feel as though games have slightly moved on in the sense that, the player should be well guided to where they need to go and the secrets should be for those inquisitive enough to find them. I feel like the game could do better with guiding because I was quite confused on where to go. But I feel like this has a lot of potential!

Honestly, absolutely no idea what I was doing, like a fishy fever dream.

The art in the books is amazing, please make a game that looks like that, would be awesome!

I like it, feels like the kind of game I would have played loads of when I was meant to be studying in school.

I feel like you should be able to refill your tank by returning to home. the cheese layout feels quite random and moving while in the air is very hard. But its fun and that's important!

Easily one of the most visually impressive and well sounding games made for this jam. The gameplay itself is a bit slow for me, I would have preferred if it stayed like the end of level one but grew more complex. But very impressive nonetheless .

Looks fantastic, funny hook but heavily missing sound. hard to know where enemies are without sound queues or if there are any still left.

I think it stems from the game wanting you to go from right to left which is fair enough, but I think just making it go from bottom to top like idk doodle jump or the ending of getting over it would stop it. It's essentially just the screen rotation. But I definitely like it a lot, very cute!

considering you have to get combos to progress I think it's quite unnecessarily hard early on. the game needs a lot of polish but I kind of love it.

Clearly going for lisa vibes with a cool combat style reminiscent of undertale. Definitely not the best submission but definitely the one I see most potential in for a full game if you decided to apply these ideas again. Well done.

cute clicker game. Not fully sure how it fits the theme though, but good job.

Very cute, love the art style.

Exiting the pool is quite disorienting and makes me feel motion sick. And a speedrun that's heavily reliant on RNG is quite bold. But I really like the delivery and it's impressively polished.

Well done for making this in such a short amount of time. But there is either not much game here or it's very unclear. quality comes over quantity. Making new games each a little more ambitious then the last will make you a better dev quicker <3

I love whatever this was going for, the atmosphere is immaculate. But I genuinely have no idea what is happening.

Love the art and music, just too short to stand on two legs for now.

Also I would recommend a shot cooldown, autoclicker will destroy this.

I love this take.

Game suffers from some balancing problems, just taking lighting in and spamming it is far better than filling up my arsenal. But again I think this is such a cool take on the topic.

The game can be a little visually uninteresting and the enemies can be a little bit too easy with very rapid growth. But the animations, sfx and background music all slap. Well done

I like it! I feel it's very ambitious and that has led to it not being as good as it could be. I feel like if this had one or two really good levels it would be a top contender for me. The laser could do with a little bit of pitch modulation and decay at the end to prevent clipping. I like the ship building it's cool but I also found it quite hard to remove parts I put in by accident (if I had put in 2 parts I wanted to remove). But overall nice submission

Great and simplistic! I feel like you could have lowered the skill floor by creating differing sizes of asteroids, starting big then going smaller as well as giving us more screen real estate to react with. But overall I like it.

Great concept. The eating animation prohibiting movement is good for balancing but due to it lasting so long it just results in unfair hits. The hitboxes are also far too generous kind of resulting in a undeserved win or a undeserved loss sort of gameplay loop. I feel like the gold is given too sparingly considering you can only buy one upgrade per round. But the art style and sound design are great! good game

I love how the music tells you how fast or slow the watch is going I think that's a really nice detail. I do think it's a little tricky to figure out when you've won the first time. I just lucked into it. But overall very good.
