No problem! I wish you the best of luck with getting your project funded!
Hopefully, they will be able to fix it as I always feel bad when I discover I've missed a comment. And thank you, I look forward to seeing your game later. Yes, I picked International Day of Sign Languages as it seemed like the perfect day for people to play a range of different games that include Sign Languages. Though, I have been considering extending the deadline as I think some people who have been working on games aren't quite ready to submit (including me 😅 Though I might just submit an older project than the one I intended on submitting).
Same :( Most platforms don't even give people the option to search for games in any particular Sign Language unlike written or spoken languages.
No worries, would it be OK for me to share your kickstarter in a few places then? And thank you for playing my game! The Japanese Signs were done by the wonderful Manae Makino she has a YouTube channel and Instagram that I recommend checking out if you want to see more Japanese Sign Language 😊
Yes, I'm hoping to make a full version. I've been trying to get funding for a few years and have shown the demo at a few events in the UK, but so far haven't managed to get enough to make a longer version. I will keep trying though!
Pixelart is not the usual art style I do but have been thinking it might suit the wedding themed game I've wanted to make. I also have made demos of a farming game (that reuses some of Mixcommunication's signs) and have been working on some 3D demos too which I plan to use with motion capture. So maybe someday I will make a pixelart game in that kind of style 😊
