So far the game looks nice, sadly I didn't read the warning and clicked on the well. Refreshing the page didn't allow me to restart either.
You should be able to explore a bit more by closing itch.io tabs then trying again. The well being instalock was my fault for forgetting a condition on the leave button. Once we're able to update the games again, the remaining 90% of the game will be available, so I'm glad you enjoyed what you saw so far!
Was a bit sad that the game suddenly ended and I can't try again when I hadn't found the boots yet, I read the warning but I thought I had talked to everyone.
Really love the aesthetic and vibe. The character portraits are nice and the music was very relaxing. Would love to see this expanded upon!
Thank you! There's much more planned for it. It's going to be quite a long trading sequence. I'm sad I didn't have time to implement the first few puzzles, but hopefully I'll have everything ready by the time we can update our games.
The game is supposed to end once you use the bucket on the well, but I missed a conditional and couldn't fix it in time. Twine works by saving data in browser cookies, but once you close itch tabs you should be able to play it from the start again.
Love the character design, especially the portrait drawings.
Thanks, my teammate and I really like making them, so I've been wanting to start making more character driven stuff. Once the voting period ends I'll update the game to have the rest of the characters.
