It's a fun little digger with some nice items and upgrades akin to  Steamworld Dig. I liked most of the interactions and the items were nicely diverse to give me different options.

For whatever reason the top of the screen was cut off for me. It felt like the game window was trying to show a 16:9 frame rather than the dimensions of a Gameboy screen. I could tell that there were things in the upper part of the UI and menus that I couldn't see so I don't want to comment on anything missing there since it was likely just cut off by the window.

The gameplay was nice and bouncy, which was fun and you could feel the upgrades when purchased so the balancing was nice. I do wish that the coins weren't shot quite as far when they pop out of either chests or blocks. I had to do a lot of running back a block or two in order to pick them up, which became more of a chore and detracted from the good feeling of seeing the toys pop out.

Oh no! I didn’t notice the viewport dimensions in the last upload, my bad. It’s fixed now.

The HUD now properly shows when you’ll get another curse (random debuff), along with your HP, selected item, and their amounts… all the helpful stuff. Sorry about that!

As for the coins flying around, the idea was to create fun moments of optimizing your digging and pushing you into risky situations. In practice, it turned out more boring than exciting, so I’ll tone it down.

Thanks a lot for playing!
