First of all, thank you for this game — I’m honestly impressed by the fact that there’s a title screen, a menu, even an options menu; all of that is really nice. Even at the end, there’s a little recap of what you were supposed to collect — you can feel this game has real potential.

It’s very satisfying to shoot with the rifle; it actually reminded me a bit of Blackthorne, that satisfying feeling of firing a gun. (Not to be taken out of context, of course!)

Unfortunately, the monsters don’t attack — even if they touch you, nothing happens; they’re just there to get blown up, which is a bit of a shame.

But the character runs, he’s fairly well animated, and it gives off a bit of a Doom Troopers vibe on the Super Nintendo — slightly digitized. There’s only one level, sure, but it exists — and in this case it feels like an actual game, or at least on its way to becoming one.

I think this game has real potential, though it’s definitely held back by the very, very, very empty environments. But aside from that, honestly, well done — it’s even quite well programmed.
