I so so so much prefer this style of music! Head bops get me way more engaged than other styles so I really liked this OST!

Her Summer Resolve is probably my favorite but at the same time, I keep anticipating to hear different notes happen which is just a me issue. Nothing wrong with the song. Actually there is one bad thing, It's way too short! I wanted it to go for another verse at least! 46 seconds is a crime for something this catchy!

When I say I anticipate hearing different notes in that song, what I mean is that at 0:11, it goes:

C - E G E - A G G# -D D# - E F E C

When I anticipate it going:

C - E G E - A G G# -D B C

It's not a bad thing at all, but I also think this is proof the song could be longer by repeating it and giving it slight melody changes. I just really liked the song and wanted more of it.

thanks for the detailed feedback!! yeah i'm totally with you; we focused really hard on having tight, memorable loops with strong leitmotifs that built throughout the OST, which make sense when you're literally in a bullet hell game. in this format, if we'd had more time, I'd like to have doubled each of the faster tracks towards the end with some extra harmonies and melody variations. hindsight is 20/20 lol

we're talking about doing an extended and/or continuous mix after the jam (obviously can't add it to the release now). i'll happily send it your way if we get around to it :)
