i'm just gonna say this flat out: this game feels very fetish-y and I'm standing my ground on it.

Me and my friend hopped on call and decided to play the prototype of this game. TL, DR: It's not that good. It also feels, as said before, very fetishy and the topics of rape and sexual assault were NOT handled well, no matter how hard you try to spin it. Having full on drawings of sexual assault happening to the character and literal drawings of Daniel's dick whipped out is genuinely so weird and, imho, this entire game is done in poor taste. This makes me more worried as to how the final game will be.

Now, I am not accusing the game developer of being someone rather lecherous, that isn't what I'm doing, but I'm more or so critiquing the game for its handling on these topics. Why did it have to be fully depicted? Why? why couldn't you just cut to black? Why don't you let the player fill in the gaps as to what happened instead of just drawing out the player getting raped and sexually assaulted? Just... Why? It just feels like extreme fetish content instead of a story that I could take seriously, and although it didn't feel romanticized, it still felt incredibly fetish-y no matter how hard I tried to analyze it.

In addition to that, the developer answers what his dick size is knowing well he's a rapist. What the fuck? Why would you even answer that? Nobody in real life is asking for the size of a literal criminals private area, and it further proves my point of this game possibly being fetish content instead of a story about the dangers of having a stalker. Yes, smaller parts of the story do display this, but it does NOT negate the fact that the game has literal rape scenes drawn out, and it feels like the creator didn't do enough research how to properly convey topics like these.

And also: why the literal fuck would you just list out his kinks... What the fuck.

"Oh, but the creator doesn't condone it--" Yes, I'm aware that the creator does not condone the topics. But, that does not give them a pass to draw scenes where the mc is getting assaulted and justify it by saying its a horror game. It is genuinely so weird how yall are eating this game up like its your last meal when its obviously made in somewhat poor taste. unless the developer explains the purpose of these graphic depictions, the game again feels very fetishized to me.

Although we're in the lense of the victim, I do feel like that it should've been done in better taste instead of again, drawing the assault for us to see.

in this visual novel the main character behaves at least adequately! what is most important to me... this novel is quite normal and is made with the main character who has an understanding of the situation. There are novels by other authors where the main character clearly has problems with understanding what is happening and is completely emotionally detached. Here everything is shown in accordance with the situation

And it's cool that it's not your thing, but I want to point out that this game has the "erotic" tag and is very explicitly being advertised as a murder porn game. You're well within your rights to be squicked out by any fetish, but it's your job to curate your own intake of fiction. This game is very honest about what it is and who it's for, and a piece of fiction simply not being made for your tastes does not make it wrong or immoral.

yes it did but we didn't need to see 5 rape scenes fully drawn out. I would've still been uncomfortable either way if it was implied :shrug: and it also doesnt explain why they literally stated his dick size in the QNA and his kinks. yall are so weird. Nah permíteme elaborar... La experiencia de un juego de horror o violencia es PROVOCAR horror, darte asco, pánico, sentir que se te retuercen los brazos del desagrado y todo aquel que usa esta plataforma lo sabe, la inmersión en un juego lo es TODO, es literalmente una novela visual y se usa LO VISUAL para inmersión, sino solamente sería un escrito con lindos fondos de colores. El autor solo te está mostrando la situación como es dentro del juego, como si vivieras eso, es antinatural que sin razón aparente todo sea negro solo para salvarte de la incomodidad que claramente busca el público meta del juego, si no buscabas esa emoción, NO eres el público meta. Si buscas chicos lindos y tiernos, te recomiendo juegos de idols o algo así.

El juego tiene advertencias POR GENTE COMO TÚ que se mete a una página llena de juegos de esta índole, con estilos simimlares, con el propósito de plasmas situaciones incómodas y divertirse de eso un rato, OBVIAMENTE no para jugar a los super héroes y poner un final lindo donde "yuju llegó la policia y el malo desapareció" que chiste de novela, quién crees que leería algo tan poco elaborado, ni siquiera las noticias de la ciudad son así de malas y poco realistas. Que hasta te lo dice dos veces, DOS, EN ROJO, que es una situación horrible, que será gráfico (y ni siquiera lo es tanto, todo está medio censurado).

Y qué si le preguntan y él responde, literalmente TODOS aquí sabemos separar la realidad de la ficción, sabemos que es un juego y un pixel, neta nadie viene aquí con el propósito de aprender patrones de conducta o educarse, es entretenimiento.

En mi experiencia Boyfriend To Death fue la novela visual más cruda pero no llego a ser tan revulsivo para mi a comparación de Wh4t 1 w0uldnt d0, me parece que el creador hizo un muy buen trabajo y espero con ansias las próximas actualizaciones.

Todavía podrían haberlo hecho en un sentido en el que se insinuara agresión sexual y violación en lugar de que le arrancaran la polla a Daniel al hacerlo. ¿Por qué intentan justificarlo cuando se utiliza claramente como valor de impacto para evocar algo... también, nuevamente, demuestra que apenas lees lo que dije y solo lees la primera parte. No estoy tratando de jugar al héroe en este juego y soy consciente de que tenía la opción de hacer clic, pero mi punto sigue siendo que la violencia aquí se usa como valor de impacto más que cualquier otra cosa.

* NO. just because its a horror game doesn't justify the face that there were five fully drawn rape scenes that appear obviously fetishized. all of yall saying "but its supposed to make you uncomfortable" or "That's the point" it would've still discomforted me if it were implied. Yall are so weird for justifying these obviously poor-taste scenes that somehow have some of you thinking that its top tier literature.

* The creator stating daniel's dick size and kinks despite him being a rapist is weird as fuck, and people who simp and glaze him are equally weird.

the fact that this is a fictional game absolutely does justify the inclusion of literally whatever the author wants, whether it be explicitly depicted rape scenes or gore or literally anything else. if you think there should be censorship in fiction, then where do you draw the line? should we go back to the old days when it was also considered 'in poor taste' to show a same-sex couple in media? taste is subjective and as long as you are not hurting anyone else, it shouldn't matter what you like or why you like it. this game is not harming you. if you chose to play it, you harmed yourself. the creator gave plenty of warning in advance. saying that the visual fictional depiction of rape scenes, whether they be fetish content or not, is not justifiable, is silly. policing fiction and other people's minds or kinks is censorship and a denial of basic free will.

Why did you download the game? Genuinely, why would you download an erotic horror game and expect to not be met with horrific topics? The point is to make something horrific into something equally erotic. Don't stick around for the final game if you cannot handle this. The whole point of the game is to make you feel disturbed, it's not supposed to give you a “happy” or “good” ending, the whole point is that you can't escape the inevitable, you talking about this ‘seeing his dick’ or whatever like it wasn't clarified the whole time, it literally tells you in the menu to exit the game immediately if you feel uncomfortable but not only that, EVEN before you download the game it tells you what this game is about. It seems like this is very much a you problem and you did not understand the concept of this Game/Visual novel. You can't complain about the rape scene you were WARNED about, and yes.. to some it could be a fetish, but the reason I and many others like this visual novel is because it's not like the other novels, it doesn't romanticise or give you a good ending, it shows you what really would could happen and what is inevitably going to happen, I'm sorry if you couldn't change who he was or what he was going to do, but that was not part of the concept of the game tho. And really... don't think you're mature enough if you're crying about the dick size.

i agree. although the game itself isn't a problem to me. based on the warnings and description, i thought it was a horror game about sexual assault, but halfway through i realized it was just a fetish game. i think the creator should make that clear and give more specific warnings. the only hint that it's a fetish game is the "erotic" tag that is hidden under "more information".
