im not even being a prude LOL. its just not a good game period. 

I'mma just assume most of yall didn't read my points and just downvoted it because this apparent masterpiece of a game got some criticism. Welp, i'm about to say some more points that are gonna have you crying because apparently yall cant take any criticism to this game. 

* NO. just because its a horror game doesn't justify the face that there were five fully drawn rape scenes that appear obviously fetishized. all of yall saying "but its supposed to make you uncomfortable" or "That's the point" it would've still discomforted me if it were implied. Yall are so weird for justifying these obviously poor-taste scenes that somehow have some of you thinking that its top tier literature. 

* The creator stating daniel's dick size and kinks despite him being a rapist is weird as fuck, and people who simp and glaze him are equally weird.

* just because the developer doesn't condone it doesn't mean that you can use it to justify the content in the game.  it is still done in poor taste and criticism for it is still allowed. 

* No, it does not have any impact because it feels as if the rape scenes were used as shock value. (key word: feels). 

* simping for daniel is weird. Yeah, i said it. he is not hot, hes just a disgusting turd. 

If yall are getting THIS mad about my opinions, it sorta shows that my point has been proven.

No estoy tratando de jugar al héroe en este juego y soy consciente de que tenía la opción de hacer clic, pero mi punto sigue siendo que la violencia aquí se usa como valor de impacto más que cualquier otra cosa.

They still could have done it in a sense where sexual assault and rape were implied rather than having it fully drawn out. (changed) and i do not give four and a half shits if its a horror game, why do they try to justify it when it is clearly used as shock to evoke something... it also, again, shows that you barely read what I said and only read the first part. Im not trying to play hero in this game and i'm aware that I had the option of clicking off, but my point still stands that the violence here is used as shock value more than anything.

yes it did but we didn't need to see 5 rape scenes fully drawn out. I would've still been uncomfortable either way if it was implied :shrug:  and it also doesnt explain why they literally stated his dick size in the QNA and his kinks. yall are so weird. "but thats the point!" still, you don't need to have fully drawn out rape scenes to make it discomforting, it just feels like the developer used rape as shock value. I cannot believe yall are justifying this shit and barely read ANY of my points. yall are so weirddd...  

i'm just gonna say this flat out: this game feels very fetish-y and I'm standing my ground on it. 

Me and my friend hopped on call and decided to play the prototype of this game. TL, DR: It's not that good. It also feels, as said before, very fetishy and the topics of rape and sexual assault were NOT handled well, no matter how hard you try to spin it. Having full on drawings of sexual assault happening to the character and literal drawings of Daniel's dick whipped out is genuinely so weird and, imho, this entire game is done in poor taste. This makes me more worried as to how the final game will be.

Now, I am not accusing the game developer of  being someone rather lecherous, that isn't what I'm doing, but I'm more or so critiquing the game for its handling on these topics. Why did it have to be fully depicted? Why? why couldn't you just cut to black? Why don't you let the player fill in the gaps as to what happened instead of just drawing out the player getting raped and sexually assaulted? Just... Why? It just feels like extreme fetish content instead of a story that I could take seriously, and although it didn't feel romanticized, it still felt incredibly fetish-y no matter how hard I tried to analyze it. 

In  addition to that, the developer answers what his dick size is knowing well he's a rapist. What the fuck? Why would you even answer that? Nobody in real life is asking for the size of a literal criminals private area, and it further proves my point of this game possibly being fetish content instead of a story about the dangers of having a stalker. Yes, smaller parts of the story do display this, but it does NOT negate the fact that the game has literal rape scenes drawn out, and it feels like the creator didn't do enough research how to properly convey topics like these. 

And also: why the literal fuck would you just list out his kinks... What the fuck. 

"Oh, but the creator doesn't condone it--" Yes, I'm aware that the creator does not condone the topics. But, that does not give them a pass to draw scenes where the mc is getting assaulted and justify it by saying its a horror game. It is genuinely so weird how yall are eating this game up like its your last meal when its obviously made in somewhat poor taste. unless the developer explains the purpose of these graphic depictions, the game again feels very fetishized to me. 

Although we're in the lense of the victim, I do feel like that it should've been done in better taste instead of again, drawing the assault for us to see.
