I'mma just assume most of yall didn't read my points and just downvoted it because this apparent masterpiece of a game got some criticism. Welp, i'm about to say some more points that are gonna have you crying because apparently yall cant take any criticism to this game.

* NO. just because its a horror game doesn't justify the face that there were five fully drawn rape scenes that appear obviously fetishized. all of yall saying "but its supposed to make you uncomfortable" or "That's the point" it would've still discomforted me if it were implied. Yall are so weird for justifying these obviously poor-taste scenes that somehow have some of you thinking that its top tier literature.

* The creator stating daniel's dick size and kinks despite him being a rapist is weird as fuck, and people who simp and glaze him are equally weird.

* just because the developer doesn't condone it doesn't mean that you can use it to justify the content in the game. it is still done in poor taste and criticism for it is still allowed.

* No, it does not have any impact because it feels as if the rape scenes were used as shock value. (key word: feels).

* simping for daniel is weird. Yeah, i said it. he is not hot, hes just a disgusting turd.

If yall are getting THIS mad about my opinions, it sorta shows that my point has been proven.

the fact that this is a fictional game absolutely does justify the inclusion of literally whatever the author wants, whether it be explicitly depicted rape scenes or gore or literally anything else. if you think there should be censorship in fiction, then where do you draw the line? should we go back to the old days when it was also considered 'in poor taste' to show a same-sex couple in media? taste is subjective and as long as you are not hurting anyone else, it shouldn't matter what you like or why you like it. this game is not harming you. if you chose to play it, you harmed yourself. the creator gave plenty of warning in advance. saying that the visual fictional depiction of rape scenes, whether they be fetish content or not, is not justifiable, is silly. policing fiction and other people's minds or kinks is censorship and a denial of basic free will.

Girl you are so right, every normal healthy thinking person would agree with you. Content warning does not justifiy the content, there were unnesecary detailed rape scenes with weird descriptions. This fandom is just so weird and wrong, all of them try to protect the game and are offensive caused by your critisism its crazy.

The content doesn't need to be "justified"; people are free to express themselves as they like, in art and otherwise. The warnings are only there to make sure people who would be negatively affected by it know to stay away.

The unnecessarily detailed rape scenes were pretty good, I thought. The game is short and linear, but it's just a prototype after all; in my opinion, it's a good game for what it is.

I'm personally not offended by the criticisms themselves, but I think the "what's wrong with you" takes are uncalled for. People have their kinks, it's fine, no big deal. You don't share them, that's also fine, again no big deal.

(I don't particularly like Daniel, though. He's not my type. But the scenario is hot.)

Thats not Art THATS ROMANTICISING THE CRUELEST THING ON EARTH, THE MOST MALICIOUS THING YOU CAN DO TO SOMEBODY AND SOMETHING WHICH SO MANY WOMEN HAVE TO DEAL WITH. If you guys dont have the capacity to understand that, and call it "art" or argue with free opinions then YOU NEED HELP. You should go to therapy instead of playing these kind of things. I'm using art in the general sense, to include all games as forms of artistic expression. I don't mean it as a value judgment beyond that.

Rape fantasies are pretty common, and it has nothing to do with condoning the act itself, which is indeed vile. I have not noticed any sort of desensitization to the real thing, myself; I seem to be able to distinguish fantasy from reality. In the same way that it's always been nonsense that violent video games lead to real-life violence, it's also not the case (in my experience, at least) that this sort of game desensitizes a person to real-life sexual abuse.

Different opinions are absolutely fine! You are entitled to yours. But I don't "need help" for disagreeing with them; that I am also free to do, just as the original opinion is indeed, as you said, free.

Thank you for your concern, but nothing is wrong with me. I'm not claiming any sort of personal issue with you; I don't see any reason to think anything is wrong with you. I would appreciate the same courtesy.

I wont argue with you, and I will not change my mind. I played the game and I know that somebody who liked/enjoyed it is not mentally healthy. And I truely dont believe that many people can distinguish between reality and fiction. I rode the comment section and saw disturbing comments, more disturbing than the game. I saw what these games do with people so I wont change my mind!
