Giving the player faster movement once you get the shoes was a nice touch and overall it's a pretty challenging game, well done!

It was neat that collecting the shoes made the player stronger - and triggered the music. The background flashing was fun - I think it flashed more when I was moving which was a good visual reward. I got as far as the moving floor platforms while being shot at.
I think the music note blocks vanish too fast, especially when hit from any direction other than the top.

The little bit of story at the beginning made me smile, really elevated this project for me. I enjoyed the creative use of the song with the rhythm platforms! I would have liked to see a checkpoint system so you don't have to start completely over every time you get hit, made it feel a little unfair. Otherwise great job, i liked it! A fun little game with fun theming and a nice sense of humor!
Hi. Thanks for replying and playing the game. It's a pity you didn't find the checkpoint. There's one in the middle of the game not to start everything again from the beggining (it's on the left, a statue with a gem). I'm glad you liked the creative use of the song with the rhythm platforms and the intro too.

Went back, and WOW I'm not sure how I missed that haha. Still brutally difficult, I've gotten to the second treadmill room now - those freaking ghosts keep getting me. At this point I'm determined to beat it to prove I can, so I can confirm you've got that as a fun factor haha
Yeah the game is brutally difficult as you said, I LOST LIKE 15 TIMES and then I could beat it and reach the top of the mountain. Thanks for enjoying the game. I'm sure you'll beat it.
Me ha gustado mucho como has utilizado la música y que gran parte de los puzzles estén basado en el ritmo, especialmente me ha gustado cuando el juego cobra vida una vez que obtienes los zapatos. A mí no se me dan especialmente bien este tipo de juegos, así que no he llegado demasiado lejos, pero lo que he visto me ha gustado. Buen trabajo!
Si me permites una crítica constructiva, especialmente si piensas continuar trabajando en el juego, yo intentaría tener una visión más clara del estilo gráfico, cuando empiezas a jugar parece que va a ser pixel-art puro, pero después el entorno y el juego en general tienen mucha más resolución de lo que te esperas. Sé lo difícil que es conseguir esto con arte hecho por terceros, pero es lo que más me ha llamado la atención.
Hola Jacinto. Muchas gracias por tus comentarios y tu feedback. Si mi problema al usar arte de terceros es ese. Se hace dificil conseguir que todo quede 100 % visualmente (incluso algunos assets tuve que hacerlos yo). Mi juego comercial Medal winners que está en Steam no tiene este problema de coherencia visual porque yo hago todo con vector art (pero no soy muy bueno, lo reconozco). Volviendo a lo que decis, que bueno que te haya gustado el tema de que cobre vida al tocar los zapatos. Gracias Jacinto. Yo también jugué tu juego. Saludos.
